"When my wife and I lived at Sierra Point basically across the street, we were excited to see the Cunningham go up. We thought it would be nice to have another luxury apartment in town, and we were going to go take a look and see if maybe we would move over. Imagine our surprise when they put up the floor plans for the Cunningham and not only are they smaller than the luxury apartments at Sierra point, they are also on average $1,500 to $2,000 more a month. The prices wanted for these rentals is insane. There's no other way to put it. My wife and I used to live in Denver which is notorious for high rental and home prices. One of our favorite places that we looked at but could not afford was Fitzsimons 21, in a very desirable location in aurora, right next to a university, a hospital, the veterans hospital, and rapid transit. It was this beautiful luxury complex where the apartments were built almost like Townhomes, there were individual garages, and they had first level retail and dining so it was its own little town almost. Right now, they are renting slightly larger units, for $1,000 less a month then the Cunningham. Look elsewhere. Sierra Point was our favorite in WDM. We spent 3 years there and it's right off Jordan Creek."
