Staybridge Suites West Des Moines, an IHG Hotel

"We have been coming here as a family for years. Renovations to common area is great. Rooms are clean and spacious."

"Aging hotel with communal areas being remodeled. Friendly staff. Fitness Center is closed and apparently has been closed for most of the year. The hotel is not forthcoming about this on their website (as of November). Rooms are dark, aging, bed is comfortable."

"Don’t Bother ! The facility is in bad shape. Hot tub does not work, fitness center out of service, the grounds are covered with goose feces, refrigerator in room sounds like a jet at take off and breakfast food items are limited. There are more deficiencies but you get the idea. Have stayed at numerous IHG properties over the last 40 years both personally and professionally-This property falls in the bottom 10%! Will not stay here in the future as there are better IHG properties in the area."

"I had to book a last minute stay here and I was super impressed! Check in was so easy and my room was exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable and I got a peaceful night sleep. The front desk worker, Michael was very friendly and informative! He also had great recommendations of food nearby. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Don't expect wifi with enough strength to do any kind of gaming. Breakfasts had sufficient options. My room was amazing compared to where I've stayed before. There was one employee in particular at the front desk when I arrived, during my stay, and I was attempting to check out. Had my dishwasher leak water all over the kitchen in my room on my last night and when I went to tell him he simply asked "what would you like me to do?" So I went ahead and mopped it on my own to not put any difficulty on his day. (You guys can check the front desk interaction on 12.12 at around 1am). Other than that, the rest of the staff was incredible and made me feel extremely welcomed."
