"I lived here for a little over 2 years and it’s been such an unpleasant experience. On the first day that I had moved in, the apartment was not at all ready. The drawers in the kitchen would fall out from not being put in properly. There were so many issues with the apartment just on day one.. on day two I get woken up by maintenance in my room telling me that my bathroom was flooding.. the dishwasher flooded later that same day and I hadn’t even used it. I did have roach activity in my apartment from day one. They would spray every month but the issue was still there.. they do give you a 24-48 hr notice of when they are going to spray but when I first got the notice it was a bit ridiculous. Mind you I had just moved in and once a month, because I had activity, I would need to take everything out of my kitchen and furniture at least a foot away from the wall so they can spray.. mind you I was 8 months pregnant and that was not realistic for me to be doing.. management did tell me I wouldn’t have to move my furniture just everything in the kitchen.. every single month ? Because I had activity. It just became inconvenient and the problem never got better. The person that lived next to me had moved and they bombed that apartment next thing you know they alll came to my apartment. I mean it was (is) BAD. It got worst over time and spraying wouldn’t do anything. They had stopped coming to spray every month a year in. I called them and let them know it was really bad in my apartment and I need an exterminator. They just offered to bomb my apartment which they did and it still did nothing. They said they would follow up with me in 2 weeks and never did. My apartment was infested. They were in everything from the fridge to my furniture and electronics. I finally moved out of that place and had to through away all my furniture and a bunch of other stuff like my Keurig. Keep in mind I myself tried everything to get rid of them but nothing worked. If you have the choice to live somewhere else don’t live here.. on top of everything else the rent was 1250 for a two bedroom when I moved in and now it’s 1650 which is what I’m paying now for a house.. they remodeled the whole outside of the property but the inside needed the most work.."
"I’ve lived here for a little over 3 years and honestly I can’t wait to move. It’s bad to where I’ve concerned breaking my lease to go else where. When I first moved in my apartment wasn’t ready at let me say I already had to wait 2 weeks because they said it wouldn’t be ready on the first . So when I moved in I excepted the apartment to be ready but it wasn’t . Walked in , knobs to the kitchen were on the counter , tile by the fridge was torn maybe from them putting the fridge in and moving it , no shower handle in the guest restroom , the towel rack in the master bedroom was loose ( came out 2 days later ] , carpet in the living room was torn front office said they’d have somebody come but to this day they never did . When maintenance came for the towel rack he made a new hole in the wall and put duck tape ( YES DUCK TAPE ) on the old dole said he would come back to fix the hole didn’t and he no longer works here. The a/c unit has went out plenty of times. There was one night it was 80 degrees in my apartment I called for emergency maintenance they came the main put his hand up said there was nothing he could do brought a small a/c unit to where my 2 kids and myself had to sleep in the small bedroom just to be cool for the night. The office ( general manager ) said if they couldn’t fix it they’d put us in a hotel for the night…..when it was time for that to happen NOBODY ever returned my call and nope , there was NO grace on the rent I still paid full balance . I felt bad my kids had to experience that . It was for 2 nights!!! It’s to the point I don’t even care to report anything to maintenance anymore b/c it’s a waste . There’s new maintenance and the wait is about 2 days or so now but they’ve went through a lot of people from the time I’ve been here . When calling the office most times I don’t get an answer. Last time I called the office it was during business hours no answer. I decided to walk up there only to find the person who was suppose to be in the office working outside giggling with maintenance. Is this why I don’t get answered when calling? There’s a big problem but they do have pest control come out to spray which is good. They give you a good 24 hour notice so you can move stuff out the way if needed. For the most part I stay to myself which isn’t a bad thing. I moved here from a sister’s property and I was excited but once I walked in the front door for the first time I knew it was a mistake. I moved because the rent increase but the increase over here has gotten crazy as well. I would rather pay the rent at my old apartment than here, it was actually worth it over there. I’ve stayed here because it’s close to my daughter’s school and I wanted it to get better but when it’s bad it’s just bad."
"Maria is super nice to my family and furry friend. Only downside is the dog park , seems like nobody else is kind enough to pick up after their pets, it makes it hard to play fetch or run around with our own pets because there is poop everywhere.. We should all be more respectful of this public place for eachother and our furry pets"
"I have lived At OrangeGrove for about 2 years. I really liked the property. It’s small, but quiet and the neighbors are friendly. While living there management and maintenance has improved since Silvia took over the property. She is amazing! She is knowledgeable and compassionate about about the complex and the people who reside there. She always knew about the upcoming events and openings that are available in the complex, she always answered any questions and concerns I had. Maintenance has also improved, they are timely when called, fixed and also answered questions I had while getting things repaired or replaced, they also have been keeping up with the cleanliness and safety of the complex. Overall my experience residing there has been great!"
