"I am so, so happy for the Rio. It is now an entirely different place than it was when we visited a year ago, for the better. It was even different from when we visited this past December to get married at the Rock n Roll Chapel. What a difference 3 months makes! New ownership is making all the right changes to improve the Rio and bring it back to its glory. The spacious, comfortable rooms; the food hall with so many solid food choices, reasonably priced; great customer service; ease of accessibility to off-strip locations; the updates to the exterior (the marquee and new LED lighting *chef's kiss*); and an overall bright, upbeat vibe. While we stayed, the place was pretty packed on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. We're rooting for you, Rio - keep up the great work!"

"I decided to check out the Rio again, now that new ownership has taken over. Let me tell you they are on the right track! The new food court is great, the casino is lit up and lively again and the renovated rooms are great! The room sizes and views at Rio have always been wonderful, but the renovations make it next level. I can't wait to see the pool finished. I will certainly be back, which innever thought I'd say about Rio again! Once everything is completed, it will be one of the best spots in Vegas once again."

"We stayed in a newly renovated room this time. Huge and comfortable. They are renovating the entire hotel. The food court is a great addition, good food at reasonable prices. But as a whole, they need to step up their service. Both times we stayed here, they messed up our reservations. This year, we only had wash cloths one day, and were told they ran out. Really?! And I have to say, it really bugs me that there are no prices shown on the items in the gift shop!! So when you get to the register, you get sticker shock!! The only reason we stayed here a second year in a row was because we were there for the pool championships both years. We wouldn’t choose to stay here otherwise. And it’s off the strip and not a fun walk to and from the strip!!"

"Was skeptical about staying here! The renovated rooms are beautiful! Came for a one night getaway on my husband’s birthday and it was a wonderful trip. The renovated rooms are truly comfortable super clean and amazing! We loved it so much we came home and booked another trip! Great job RiO . I love that they posted the renovation process on the website it’s like watching chip and Joann renovate homes on steroids. So exciting. Great location."

"Had a good time here. We got a nicely renovated room and it was big! Had a full size couch and large wall mounted TV. The beds were very comfortable. Really enjoyed this room, actually. Was scared to come back here after all these years, but I am happy. I just wish they had their daiquiri bar still."
