"Red Rock Pointe is a great retirement community. The food is fantastic. The staff is wonderful and will go out of their way to assist the residents. Plus, the apartments are very affordable, with cleaning included in the price."

"We have lived here here for 3 years now. Love the apartment layout. Employees that have stayed through out the years are very professional. Extremely disappointed in our quality of food! Brunch used to be nice but since Thanksgiving it has not been worth staying for it. Lunch is just horrible no one is cooking its sandwiches and egg salad. Not worth the new prices that just went into effect. We had hoped for better quality with prices rising, no such luck so far. Fruit is scarce and comes in non edible. We have asked for cameras to be put in for protection but have had no response from RLC headquarters. Hoping for better things coming out of our kitchen."

"Red Rock Pointe is a beautiful community. My mom moved in this year and she couldn't be happier. Her apartment is huge with a full kitchen! There is new management, they are awesome. The staff is very polite and professional. The meals are great. She gets weekly housekeeping and lots of new friends to discover. Our family couldn't be happier with her living there and we love to hang out with her during Sunday brunch! Best independent living community in Las Vegas!"

"I work here as the Sous Chef. I have been working here for almost 3 years. It is the most satisfying job I have ever had!! I have lived here in Las Vegas for 20 years and YES this is the BEST place for me to work! I make food from scratch!! It warms my heart to feed my residents homemade food that makes them happy!"

"Lovely facility from a physical standpoint. Huge turnover in management. In the first year, 7 different facility managers. Beautiful dining area but horrific food. Rather than improve the food, they make excuses for it and try to convince the residents that not everybody likes the same thing. That's true, but bad is bad regardless of a persons personal tastes. Soggy sandwiches and overly spiced food are common. The ice cream machine was a saving grace. The vegetables are pure mush. Nice staff onboard locally, but management on the corporate level is greedy and heartless. It's all about the money. We lived there for 8 months and we will sorely miss the friends we made. However, we made the right decision to leave. Think about the fact that we spent $2200 to improve our apartment with laminate flooring, new faucets, blackout shades, etc and left it all behind. That's how bad it is. We are 78 and 68 respectively and we have options. The people who stay have the money to do so and are trapped by their age and health conditions. As one resident put it: "I think they stink, but I have nowhere else to go." What a crummy marketing plan it is to trap people who have no choices. if you tour the place you'll hear a great story and see a beautiful physical facility., but once you move in you'll see the real truth and it isn't pretty."
