"Might be TIME TO START A CLASS action lawsuit regarding this company. I reached out by phone. I’ve reached out by email. All have been documented. The next step will be to hear from my attorney and all legal fees will be paid by you the property management company who refuses to give me what I AM rightfully owed, which is a receipt of what I paid to move out. Anyone else who has had issues with this company or any other property management company, let’s come together and do something about it! find me on Facebook Bachata Diva, and message me regarding your circumstance and we will see about getting a class action lawsuit going. Enough is enough!"
"We were discriminated against renting a property at Inspire apartment homes in Summerlin by Managers Natalie and Yarla My girlfriend and I had attempted to rent a apartment home at this property and had a terrible experience. After Touring the property we had applied to a apartment and were immediately denied the next morning with no phone call just emailed stating unsatisfactory credit when we were told while touring if credit was a issue then we would be offered a higher deposit to move in. I had stated my concerns being unfair so they decided they would actually look at my application. I was then told my application was denied because my income because they refused to add commission as income when it is higher amount then my based hourly pay. They said I was about $1000 short for rental approval so we used my girlfriend's income to add to the total . After they reviewing my girlfriends information they denied us again saying since my girlfriend is self employed they won't use her income! So, first they denied me off credit when they originally said I'd get a higher deposit then tried to find multiple reasons to deny us off income requirements when my girlfriend and I together make over 6 times the monthly rent and been verified. We also have a long rental history with no evictions on our record. Throughout the whole Application process Assistant manager, "Yarla" and Manager, "Natalie" were rude and unprofessional and made my Girlfriend and I feel unwelcomed. We feel we have definitely been discriminated against by management of this property and they claim to part of the Equal Housing Opportunity. Also, My girlfriend and I are A interracial couple and feel this played a part in their decision as well."
"I recently had an experience with Ovation @ Venecia that I feel compelled to share with potential renters. My hope is to provide an honest perspective to help others make informed decisions. Unjustified Repair Charges: Watch out for inexplicable charges on your final bill. They charged me for black residue removal, which seemed like a simple cleaning job, but they turned it into an expensive repair. There's also a hefty charge for painting, even though I never painted the apartment. Overpriced Carpet Repair: The carpet in my unit came loose, which I believe was due to poor installation. Yet, they billed me for the repair as if it was my fault. Be prepared for high cleaning and repair costs for things that might not be your responsibility. Management Issues: Communication with management is a challenge. My fridge broke down, and it took them ages to fix it. There’s also a problem with accessing Amazon packages and confusing charges for appointments that I never scheduled. Hostile Environment: I've received threatening emails from management, which is highly unprofessional and creates a tense living environment. It doesn’t feel like a community here, they constantly up fees to throw office parties and will slowly suck money out of you. Management also schedules maintenance without calling you resulting in a breach of contract and a ghost missed appointment fee. They are extremely hostile and will always be knocking on your door without advanced notice. Your Efforts May Go Unnoticed: Despite my efforts to repair previous damage from former tenants, I was still charged for repairs that I believe were unnecessary. In summary, while the idea of living here might seem appealing, the reality can be quite different. The property management seems more focused on finding ways to charge tenants rather than providing a comfortable living experience. Please consider these points carefully before deciding to move here."
"I have NEVER lived at any of their properties. I moved to Texas last month and applied for a place to stay. Upon a denial letter, I was told it was for a 2022 eviction from the San Croix apartments. After speaking with Nevada Legal services(who confirmed the falsely claimed eviction) they advised me to reach out to Ovation Property Management to have them fix their mistake. Ironically the person that was evicted has my same last name...and one letter difference in her first name. I have been calling Garrett (hopefully that is the right spelling) trying to get to the bottom of this as I have 4 little people depending on me. This is very devastating to say the least. 3 days of calling and still no results. Is it possible to seek an attorney for this matter?"
"I have been at Venicia since 2019 and lived in 2 different units, a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom, and I can safely say that the issues I will describe will not change per unit. The staff has gotten progressively more impersonal, rude, insulting and with zero accountability every year. Not once have I left the office thinking “wow, what a pleasant experience.” Every manager that has been in the position has had a chip on their shoulder and treat the residents one step above the pigeons they do nothing about. When a manager builds up enough complaints against them, they move them to another property to unleash their wrath upon those residents. This is more than evident with the number of bad reviews about Deena at another property as she was here prior. The pigeons roost in the gutters and roof, and when it rains there is a literal avalanche of bird poop. Then the stray cats (that they allow the residents to leave food out for) eat the pigeons leaving carcasses and feathers strewn about the built up piles of bird poop on the ground. The most they have done to resolve this issue is put up bird spikes, which the pigeons just use to fortify their nests. The landscapers are horrid, they leave tools out, dead shrubs and plants all over the place, water leaks for months, dead trees since I moved in, and holes in the ground without any signage or cones posing a major liability for someone to get injured. They are not Certified Arborists, destroyed the trees, and have little to no horticultural training. They are currently removing all the turf, which should lower water usage, yet we got a letter notifying us of an increase in our utility bills. This is them likely passing along fines imposed by SNWA to the residents to avoid actually paying it themselves. If I could give them no stars at this point, I would. Then when you want to actually file a complaint, Ovation has no system to do so, unless you already know the parties name. The maintenance staff will do the bare minimum to fix your issues (sans Joe), adamantly refuse to schedule appointments and just show up at your door expecting someone to be home and usually have to be called back a minimum of 3 times for something as simple as a leaky faucet. They will not show you the actual apartment you will be leasing until after you sign, effectively pulling a switch after they parade you around their models. Once you do move in it is evident that they put on as little effort as possible. They leave stains in carpet from gum, won’t replace the carpet if there is cat urine in it, paint over outlets and hinges, and overspray onto windows. On our most recent lease signing we NEVER received a copy of our lease or the damage inspection report (violation of state law). The front desk is awful (Eva) she will interrupt you, not pass along messages, and won’t update files (she was still calling a roommate that moved out 3 years ago for service requests) all while being petty and standoffish. Now for the residents. The residents treat the property like the staff treat them, poorly. The greater majority of pet owners will not pick up after their pets, getting to the point that the stench can be picked up from around corners. They toss their trash “near” the dumpsters but don’t make it and not pick it up if they fail to make it in. They will blast music in their cars to the point that windows rattle. They openly smoke marijuana at the pool with little to no care of those around them. It is explicitly stated in the lease that this is a no smoking property, the entire property, yet a number of resident smoke cigarettes at their doors and blow the smoke in your face as you walk by. Just another money hungry corporation, instead of focusing on infrastructure improvements and lowering the cost of rent to what these horridly overpriced units actually worth, they literally throw pizza parties. An absolute joke of a property, I cannot wait to never renew my lease again. If you want a better property, hire better people! (All photos of landscape were left like this over a weekend)"
