Family Fare Supermarket

"Before it sold and became Family Fare, the selection was so-so, but the prices were affordable. Now, judging by the prices, you'd think you're shopping at Baker's.. only without the same quality of products. Family Fare's selection is still so-so, but the prices are NOT affordable.."

"If I based this review on the chicken alone, it would be not 5, but 10 stars!! Where they fall short are the employees, to begin with. No customer service skills to speak of. Not friendly at all. Secondly, I ordered a 10 pc dark meal, with included mashed potatoes and gravy, an additional side, and choice of corn bread or dinner rolls. I was given about four tablespoons of potatoes and two tablespoons of gravy. My additional side was cheesy hashbrowns and although it was a good helping, it was not good. I asked if that was really all we got for mashed and gravy and was told that the two combined must weigh one pound. I pointed out that the sign said it feeds four and this clearly will not feed four. Both small containers were not even half full! She said that’s corporate rules, very rudely. Finally, I got home to discover that not only was I not asked if I wanted the cornbread or the rolls, but I didn’t get either!!"

"Nice and clean store with great variety. If prices weren't that high.... And the music is too loud and just terrible!"

"Absolutely one of the best grocery stores around. HUGE store with so many options to choose from while grocery shopping. Love the large shopping isles free from clutter and large enough to easily avoid any other shopper. No messy displays throughout the store. No cheap 3 day sales on nearly expired items. Good beer and liquor selection. Competitive prices on everything."

"Make sure you check the dates on the products you buy from here. The past few times I have shopped I have found things still being sold on the shelves that were past their expiration date. One time it was Land of Lakes lunch meat. There have been canned food as well. We went to the store today 04/13/19 and I didn't look at the date on the pork gravy and I just went to make it for dinner and the best by date was 10/11/18. This has become ridiculous. I haven't posted before but now that this has happened many times, I have decided to post. They really need to do something about this serious issue. Shame on you Family Fare!!"
