"We have used Hawaii Air Conditioning for annual service and repairs for years and have always been happy with their service. We have two central air conditioning units, one in our bedroom we run all night. With the cost of electricity in Hawaii (even with solar panels) our monthly bill was very high. I had Dale come out and look at my A/C and asked if I should replace it with a more energy efficient unit (ours is 12 years old). He said to replace it would be very costly and recommended we install a wall unit in the bedroom. The total cost of that was only $3,700 (plus electrical), a fraction of the cost of replacing our central unit. The best news (besides having a large reduction in our monthly electric bill) is that that unit cools down the room much faster and colder than before. My wife says, besides adding solar, that has been the best investment we ever did for any house we've owned."
