"One of the things I look for in booking dive days with a shop is response time to my email inquiries. Gabe was super at getting back to me quickly and helping me plan a two-tank dive day with my teenage son and then working with me to find another two-tank dive with my son AND a refresher session for my wife AND a Discover Scuba session for my 12 year old daughter so that the four of us could do a family dive together. We had full rentals for my daughter and wife and BCD’s for me and my son (we brought everything else - just couldn’t fit BCD’s into all of our luggage). Clare was our guide/instructor both days. She was attentive to checking air, NDL and alerting us to things to see. She was super attentive to my 12 year old given that it was her very first dive. Bonus points for Clare: my daughter LOVED her and when my GoPro battery died seconds into our family dive, she used her own GoPro to snap a photo of our very first dive together as a family! I loved the flexibility in planning. There was early morning, mid morning and early afternoon to choose from. The dive boat itself maxed out to 6 divers plus dive guide(s). Boat was spacious, light snacks available between dives and plenty of shade. My only regret is that I couldn’t find one more additional day to dive with Kaimana before heading home!"

"My teen and I did two reef dives with Gabe, and they were amazing. We are new divers, and Gabe made sure we felt super comfortable in the water. We felt very safe the entire time, and I got to learn some new buoyancy skills. We saw some amazing turtles, eels, and a ray! You can see the great pics in others’ reviews. Would come back to dive in Honolulu just to dive with this operator again. Princess diving at its finest ;)"

"I dove with Kaimana back in 2021 and again now in October 2023. Gabe is super accommodating and friendly. Twice now I’ve been able to go on a private dive with just the dive master! Very grateful for my dive masters Greg and Alex. Greg was friendly and patient with me getting back into the water after 2 years. Alex went above and beyond to show me all the best the Sea Tiger and Oahu’s wildlife had to offer. Seeing white tip reef sharks and interacting with octopuses was unforgettable."

"My first dive after open water certification. Gabe gave me a great pre-brief and tips and handed me over to Alex. Alex was outstanding. Made me feel super comfortable. Understood my limitations and coached me through a great first ocean dive. The boat was professionally operated by a great Captain and all the crew were super nice and professional. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Catered to my novice capabilities and also several advanced divers on the same dive."
