"We have been going here for years. It is one of the more popular playgrounds in Honolulu for kids. We have been to many around the city and this is our favorite. It's handy since we live so close. Parks system also offers loads of classes (volleyball, basketball, art classes, chess, etc) for kids that are free. Just check out the parks depts website."

"3.5. The experience is what you make of it. Sometimes kinda sketchy because of homeless or what seem to be unstable people wonder in and pass through. Definitely cleaner then other parks in Waikiki. Next to the zoo so you’ll see the giraffes poking their heads up across the street. Good. Will do fine. Not great. Dirty bathrooms"

"The playground appeared to be newer or at least better maintained, no graffiti. There was a bathroom there, but some of the other parents were saying that a homeless person hit one of the kids inside so a bit sketchy."
