"Those apts r filled with people who do meth and they r nasty they stink they have bed bugs and u live around trash my husband's mom lives there and so does he and he gets all his drugs right there he is having an affair and she lives there to and all they do is meth and they sell it there to so stay clear of those apts it's all trash that lives there and Raymond carpenter he is the cheating husband so of course he gonna say his mom loves it there and so does he cause he can be on meth and get it free from the neighbors he is sleeping with plus many others so if u have a parent or a family member don't let them live there it's full of trash and meth and people that come with that"

"My mother has been living here for about three years and loves it. There has been a bedbug problem however,management has always got right on it and got an exterminator. Apts are clean and the people who live here are all very nice. Management is very good as well. As soon as they are aware of a problem they fix it. The people who live here look out for each other. As far as noice goes.... what apartments don't have noise ???"

"I lived at Southgate Apartments for several months between 2021-2022, had several challenges with my unit which included: unleveled flooring, electricity and television service were frequently down, my upstair’s neighbor’s nocturnal activities between 11pm-5am would awaken me nightly while he hammered the bathroom pipes, or during the day would drop heavy objects onto my ceiling while I watched television. Although, I reported these disturbances to management, the issues continued. Living at Southgate under a year’s time was the worst time in my life, but I was fortunate to move out, and never regretted my move. I would never recommend this place, and I’m sorry that many residents infrequently voiced their concerns or complaints for fear of retaliation, or when issues were reported, the issues were not resolved, or resolved as expected. Although I had some horrible experiences as a tenant, in addition to theft and intrusion, I enjoyed the various seasons and the snow (when I wasn’t blocked in by it), and the snow covered mountains."

"I don't live here but I visit often. It appears to be a very nice place. Residents all look like they have been here for years. Everyone knows everyone and watches out for one another. The common areas are nice and well kept, the units have porches or balconies, parking is adequate, pool area is clean and inviting. They even have a dog park which is dedicated to dogs for running around and doing their business. It's a nice place. You can find places that are fancier but I'm sure they will cost more, but I have nothing to prove that."

"I lived at Southgate Apartments, Carson City, Nevada between 2021-2022, and many of my experiences were traumatic, debilitating and disturbing with many sleepless nights with my upstair’s neighbor’s many nights of nocturnal activities in the bathroom area until dawn, or days of tobacco smoke seeping inside my unit, or being unable to reach management by phone when the snow blocked me inside, or when my central heater went out during a snow storm at night and couldn’t reach management, or when the outside building lights went out at night and the area was very dark. I also would lose my balance inside my unit because the floor was unleveled, and when I mentioned it to management, I was told that I accepted it (though I moved there from another state and didn’t have extra money for travel and hotel cost). Also, couldn’t reach management by phone regarding imminent issues so I emailed them. Though I loved the city, living at Southgate was physically, mentally, emotionally exhaustive, costly, and difficult period for me. I moved out several months later which also cost me financially, physically, mentally and emotionally drained. I definitely would not recommend them."
