The Carson City Plaza Hotel & Events Center

"The room was ok, nothing great. The TV didn't work but a "tech" got it to finally work after several attempts and trying a few different remotes. Sink cabinet fell apart ! Furnishing definitely older. Very noisy other rooms well into late hours so not much sleep. Breakfast was ok and the breakfast worker did her best keeping it stocked but wasn't the friendliest. Even as I'm writing this the noise from above me is uncalled for. It's close to restaurants and casinos. I stayed 4 nights, noisy each night. Price is average for the area. I doubt if I would come again my next trip to Carson City."

"Was present for the Nevada Day parade. it was awesome. only downfall was it was 40° and the parade was over 3 hours. as far as the plaza hotel The service and the hospitality was a solid 10."

"Convenient to downtown right next to Reds 395 restaurant. It is old but everything works and the staff was excellent. Breakfast was sub-par plan on eating out for breakfast. They do have coffee 24\7 in the lobby. Overall a safe clean place to stay."

"Very good local area but the rooms itself are outdated. The beds are a bit old and could be done better. Breakfast is also very simple with just some cereal, bread, juice, or oatmeal. It is the most affordable room in Carson city so if it's just for a quick weekend then it is worth the price."

"Both on the phone and in person I was treated graciously. It was easy to book a room and also to extend the stay an extra day. The ladies at the front desk went over and above to provide suggestions and information for attractions in the area. There are multiple buildings at the Plaza Motel. We stayed in the main building. The building was very clean and the walls nicely painted in the hallways as well as in our room. The bed and pillow was comfortable. There was a microwave, fridge, small table with 2 chairs, bedside tables, TV and dresser. The hotel is older and there are a few items that could use some updates but it is definitely clean, comfortable and safe. The breakfast was a simple continental breakfast, no hot foods but certainly sufficient to start the day. It's in a location that makes it easy to get to Virginia City, Gold Hill and other areas to explore. There are laundry facilities on the premises. We would stay here again if we were in the area."
