"This is the perfect location for getting around everywhere in Carson City. It's close to Lake Tahoe and Virginia City as well. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy. There was a refrigerator, microwave, and cable tv in the room - everything I needed. Great water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water as well."

"Anytime I travel to this area, this is where I stay. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, the people are wonderful. The place is older so some things are worn or in need of repair. This visit, my room had two areas in the carpet that was extremely worn and, I felt, it should be replaced and the shower curtain rod had been pulled and needed to be reattached to the wall a little better. They do a great job cleaning the rooms. I have never been in a room that was left dirty in any way. The people at the front desk are always very friendly and helpful. The rates are great and the location is very convenient. The problems with the carpet would require upper management approval to remove and replace the carpet, which would mean the room would be unavailable for a number of days and the rooms around that area would have to deal with the noise which would probably get complaints and/or bad reviews. It will need to happen soon though. Overall it was a great place. Nothing fancy, no pool or anything like that but...for a nice place to relax, get a good night's sleep this is the place."

"Of the three hotels I stayed at over the course of my recent trip this one was by far the best! Clean room, smelled good, and the bathrooms were free of any mold or yuck. The person at the front desk was nice. The TV in the room was a smart tv so we could watch netflix on it, which was very convenient for me as someone used to streaming more than cable. The pillows were soft, which was a relief after a couple nights of hard ones at other places, and the mattress was nice. The breakfast offered was honestly great; they served yogurt, toast, oatmeal, granola bars, fruit, coffee, and juices. I don't know why people complain about it, it was filling and was a great value considering the price paid for the stay. If I had to say anything couple be improved I would just say the blankets, they were a little thin but it was okay with the heater on. The walls were a bit thin as well, which is expected at most motels so it didn't bother me, but it's something to keep in mind it you happen to be a light sleeper. Overall it was very comfortable and we rested well."

"We were on a family trip to Lake Tahoe; we could not find a reasonable priced room for the night. After searching for a little while, we came across this motel which is about 30 mins away from Lake Tahoe, we booked it(far less priced!!), and drove there; very clean room and linens, pleasant smell, quiet surroundings, close to everything. Very pleased with our stay (we stayed an extra night). This hotel perfectly fits the common phrase "hole on the wall". We were very content and pleased with our stay. Definitely coming back again to this hotel for our next visit to Tahoe. While you're there in Carson City, visit Kings Canyon waterfalls, pretty cool!!"

"I could generally call this place home. I do stay here often and have done so over many years. It is a very quiet hotel with an outstanding staff, from the management to housekeeping. The hotel is clean, room rates are very reasonable and the hotel is undergoing some upgrades. The beds are very comfortable and room furnished with microwave and refrigerator. A small breakfast is available, but I can never seem to wake up for it. The hotel is very safe, accessible in a good location."
