"FUTURE RENTERS BEWARE!! The walls are made of paper mache at North Peak Apartments! We have annoying neighbors that blast their music at all hours of the day and night. I've tried to be cordial with the leasing office staff and ask that they please tell the neighbors to keep the bass music down. We're not suppose to confront the neighbors ourselves because the lease agreement tells us not to. I've complained at least 4 or 5 times now and they keep telling me they'll notify the noisy neighbors, but the music still continues. The last time I complained I emailed proof from how loud the neighbors are both from the inside and outside of the building. That was about a week ago and as I write this now, I'm listening to the bass thumping. The staff told me to call the cops which I did, but it took the cops over 2 hours to come out last time and by the time they arrived, the music had stopped. If you move in here you should expect to just have to deal with the noise levels because all the leasing staff will do is send an email (or so they claim) when they should be imposing fines or evicting tenants who are disturbing the peace. Ever since MG Properties bought out this complex from the former owners, ERGS it's been a total nightmare of a living experience for my husband and I. UPDATE: In response to MG Properties' reply to my review. With all do respect, please feel free to look into this yourselves if you're genuinely interested in rectifying the issue. I've emailed and followed up with the on-site North Peak leasing office team several times. They've documented everything. I'm not really interested in repeating myself over and over."

"Building of apartments by the masses.. still Reno holds a 21% ( if not higher) homeless rate! The rental situation for Reno is about as ridiculous as can be! These apartments built within the past few years... look to be fully occupied. An unfortunate add to the North Valley's traffic commute problems. I believe more are being built just a couple blocks away."

"HORRIBLE place to live. Management does not disclose that you will be paying an additional $200-$500 in rent each month. This is for each resident despite some of the charges not applying to certain residents. Appliances perform poorly, with the dryer needing multiple cycles to dry a small amount of clothing, dishwasher not releasing soap but running a full cycle, and refrigerator much too small for a family let alone a couple. This causes issues for busy schedules and additional utility bill expenses. When addressing management with issues, they ignore your questions and complaints and only answer in ways that free them from blame. They will not take responsibility for anything, and when they have no excuse available they will repeatedly tell you they're not sure how something happened and that they are sorry for the inconvenience, but fail to find a solution. When confronting management about a neighbor harassing my family, they ultimately revealed PERSONAL INFORMATION about that neighbor. This action is severely unprofessional, and dangerous as a malicious person could have easily used that information to their advantage. Needless to say, you are best being very courteous, private, and quiet in order to protect your safety and privacy, and refrain from making complaints as to not get on managements bad side. The dog park area reeks of urine regularly and certain grass patches frequently have dog poo in them that owners did not clean. Gym is inadequate with mostly cardio machines, and low quality weight machines. Though it is 24 hours, so that is convenient. Not enough parking spaces. Cars line the side of the sidewalks, and you may have to park a distance away from your apartment. I have noticed in buildings closer to the center, these issues are more common, and people walk a good distance from car to apartment. Not enough dumpsters. There are not enough dumpster locations nor physicals dumpsters within those locations. Trash fills up quickly. Every other weak the dumpster is overflowing. I often find my trash rolling off the top of the pile, or having to balance it so it wont fall off. I have read other reviews about the high move out costs, potentially $1000+. Although I keep my apartment clean and my family has not caused any damage, I do not doubt those claims given the company's record, and unfortunately expect a high move out cost. Overall, the apartments look nice on the outside, but do yourself a favor and lease elsewhere. North peak apartments are not a home but a prison. My lease does not end until 2024 but I am very eager to get away from this place as soon as it does. North Peak apartments and MG properties deserve a 0 star if that were possible."

"Living at North Peak Apartments was a great experience. For moving out for the first time on my own, the community was very welcoming and so was the office staff. The office staff was very nice. Mia Garcia was a leasing agent that was so helpful and had an answer/resolution to any question or concern I had and if she didn't she would figure it out. She was very helpful in many ways and always had a great positive attitude. I knew I could depend on her with anything. I hear now she is the Assistant Manger, very well deserved. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend North Peak to anyone."
