"Definitely do this!! It's a very special, we saw many rays and they came very close! Easy, several options for getting out to view them. With some tours you don't have to get in the water to see them (with canoes it's low to the water enough to see), but highly recommend going in for full experience!"

"This is obviously a place only Mauna Kea guests can visit. If you’re staying in Waimea, like we were, you can’t park in the beach access parking because it closes at sunset, and the Manta’s come out after dark. We were able to dive into the property after dark, but everything was private parking and beach access (public parking) was closed so we had to turn around. I wish the resort would keep the public parking open later for the manya ray viewers."
