"Hanauma Bay is beautiful and special. We flew in from Kauai for the day. This visit was one of the highlights of our day. We rented two umbrellas and the premium snorkeling package which included goggles, breathing tube and fins. $20 for each. The snorkeling was beautiful. It is amazing how much coral there is and how many fish we saw. Highly recommend!"
"We were on the fence about visiting Hanauma Bay given the ticket reservation process. We lucked out and managed to get tickets on the portal last minute and hands down it was the best activity of the trip. If you don’t have a snorkel set hit up any of the ABC Stores. We paid $9.99/set which was cheaper and much more sanitary than rentals."
"This is the place that everyone wants to visit when they come to Hawaii. However, not everyone can go. The shallow sea, the calm waves, and the many fish... everything is harmonious. Even if you pay the entrance fee or not, you will not regret investing a day's schedule here. It may seem difficult because it is a paid park, but the behavior on the beach is the same as other beaches. Bring an umbrella, a mat, water, and snacks. Snorkeling equipment or towels can be rented or bought locally, but buying them is a much more reasonable choice. Showers and toilets are similar to free parks, so don't expect too much."
