"Like a Paradise"

"Our family has stayed at the Papakea several times. We really like the property. It is very relaxed, the grounds are beautiful, and there are 2 pools and 2 jacuzzis. We usually stay for a while, so we prefer to make our own food, and love that there is a full kitchen in every unit. Every room has an ocean view. We LOVE the Papakea. With that being said, here are some things the Papakea does not have (just as an fyi): 1) lots of family events. Weekly events are exercise related and then maitais on Thursdays. Built more around a mature audience. 2) ice machine. We all have a fridge/freezer, but sometimes an ice machine would be nice 3) restaurant or convenience shop - again, you have a full kitchen and there is a grocery store across the street. But just things to note. 4) beach gear - depending on the unit you have, you may/may not have gear available to you based on what the owner of the unit leaves out. It would be nice, given we pay a resort fee, for those things to be more available at the front. Again, all this being said. We have come as a couple. Aging parents have stayed here, and most recently we came with our toddler. There are still plenty of family friendly things to do. We love it here and will likely stay here again."
