"We've rented a set of umbrella and chairs for the beach twice this week, the first day Gary was our host and he did great by helping us, but the second day we have had a very bad experience with Broden, a really rude guy considering he's there to provide a service in a customer facing role.....other colleagues of him were really kind and nice that same day but Broden ruined it all...a shame and a pitty for the rest of the team!"

"horrible experience. Book independently. We booked a sailing trip and we’re given an arrival time of 4:00. We arrived at 4:00 and saw the boat leaving. The departure time said 4:30. We have not been able to get ahold of anyone. Matthew is completely oblivious and is no help. Tells us to dispute the charge and that’s the best they can do….. and that we have to wait for whenever the manager finds time to call us back. Our receipt says departure at 4:30 and he said yeah well I’m not sure why they left early. We go online and find that the time changed Oct 1st and they failed to tell us… we booked through this company?? And they can’t do anything. Just dispute with credit bureaus??? Don’t go through them. My parents also booked a finishing trip through them earlier this morning and the men were extremely inappropriate to another family, wanting to keep the finish they caught and cussing at the mom of a 7 year old who caught the fish. BOOK INDEPENDENTLY!"

"My family and I were vacationing in Hawaii and I booked a day sail for us to go to at 1pm. On 8/10, we were waiting to board a catamaran. We sat at a few beach chairs under an umbrella not knowing that they were for rent. We weren't there long until someone came and said it was their spot (which was fine), but an employee of this establishment named Ryan yelled "Get out, get out!!" to my family. We all got up and left, however, I was in such shock, I asked my brother if I heard correctly. I went back to let Ryan know that what he said was unacceptable. My parents are elderly and my son has epilepsy, so the heat can trigger his seizures. I was LIVID. As a parent, you never want your child or even your family to be treated like this. I was unsure if this hateful comment was racially driven, but I was incredibly disappointed this happened. I approached the establishment and spoke to the manager on duty, Brent. He apologized as well and said he was out of umbrellas, but we were able to temporarily sit under one of the umbrellas (with two chairs). There was five of us. Honestly, this really ruined the day for us, but I used it to teach my son a valuable lesson- to always stand up for yourself and never allow anyone to disrespect your family or make you feel less than. I truly hope that you can educate your employees on how to handle these matters. How my family was treated this day should NEVER happen again."

"Aloha, I'm an owner at the Westin Villas North. We were there from Feb 8-22, 2020. I think your staff is great especially Monica at the Villas North pool desk. However, I was disappointed to learn that prices for beach lounge chairs and umbrellas increased 50%. Now $15/ day for a chair and $30 for an umbrella! I understand that about 75% of the cost goes to Maui County, but for that price could you please replace the old style, uncomfortable SLATTED lounge chairs with current designs and materials like at Westin Nanea. Mahalo"
