"I have been seeing Dr. Sugibayashi for 5 years and now both her and Dr. Asato helped to manage my first pregnancy over the past 10 months. I have always felt welcomed and cared for by both doctors. The front desk staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful and always made sure my next appointments were set and I always received a phone call reminding me of the date and time when the appointment got close. I have never had an issue with miscommunication or labs being ordered/received. During my pregnancy I felt extremely safe asking questions and voicing concerns. I never felt judged or as if my concerns were not met or talked about. This is another honest review from someone who has been going to this office for years. Pre baby and now post baby I will stay with these two doctors because they are very good, knowledgeable and friendly. I trust them both."

"My visits to Dr. Sugibayashi was limited last year during coronavirus, which was fine because I didn't get any warm feeling from her and she didn't seem interested in my thoughts or concerns about birth. There's a disconnect between Dr. Sugibayashi and her office staff because I have to remind them about my appointments, lab work, and other paper work. The front office was also disorganized and got my appointments mixed up with someone elses. I always felt rushed during my appointments. I will find another doctor for my next child."

"I'm not a patient of Dr. Sugibayashi, however my minor daughter is. The doctor herself is really nice, but her front office staff, well that's another story. They treat you like you're just another number, another day, another dollar, I guess. Merci, in particular is very rude and sassy. I for one am a nurse, and am outraged that they allow this type of behavior at a medical practice, where patients are already having problems and seeking help. They called me on a Thursday to reschedule my daughters appointment that was scheduled on the following Monday, an appointment that had been scheduled for 3 months. I asked how long they knew that the covering doctor wasn't going to be working the hour my daughter was scheduled, her response, "we knew as soon as we got her schedule." Dr. Sugibayashi is out on maternity. It's very inconvenient, I requested off for this day. She said they have too many patients to call people in a timely manner, and tried to give me an appointment a month later. My daughter was the first person scheduled with the covering physician too LOL... She said we see 54 pts a day...Wow LOL... My practice, we see 80+ patients a day, and we call everyone as soon as we know of schedule changes. That just left a sour taste in my mouth. I'm switching my daughters doctor, where not only is the doctor nice, but the staff as well."
