"Of all dentist clinics I’ve been too, this clinic is by far the best. Very satisfied with the outcomes of all my sessions here and also customer service is top notch! Definitely recommend coming here!"
"I really wish I didn’t have to leave a 1 star review and even if I have a bad experience I would never leave this type of review but in this case I do want to warn other patients. Pros: First there are some good things. They are easy to schedule, clean, have good follow up, easy parking and the staff is overall pleasant. They even decorate on holidays and do seem patient when I have questions. This is all really fantastic and what kept me as a patient for 3-4 years and tolerating the problems. Cons: I don’t know why but they cycle dentists almost every 3-12 months. I had maybe 5-6 different dentists over a 3-4 year period. This wouldn’t be too bad but it feels like they have a quota to hit. My first instance was with Invisalign, I was set up on a 12 month program which I followed perfectly and towards the end I noticed that my teeth still needed re adjusting according to what they said it should look like when it was completed. The doctor I had was very nice but she left while I was on treatment and so I had to discontinue my Invisalign halfway through as my “original dentist” still had the file. Or so I was told. I had to keep reminding them that my treatment was not completed and I needed a new set of Invisalign treys. Eventually they were able to sort it out but it took 6 months and when I did get new treys I my new dentist had left Waialae and I had to go through a 6 month wait again. Eventually my 12 month Invisalign became 2.5 years. Eventually I went to a orthodontist and paid to have new Invisalign from another office because I did not wait any longer. My Invisalign journey took 4 years in total. At the time I did t think too much of this and was rather patient but 6 months ago a my 6th newest dentist at Waialae told me that I needed to have a crown installed on a molar. Well, I had seen a endodontist about this tooth and they told me it was best not to touch the tooth as if I do I could need a root canal. Waialae assured me that the endodontist was wrong and I needed to crown this tooth. I complied unfortunately and had it performed. Unfortunately this turned into a root canal two months later. When I did go to a new dentist they told me that the crown was not only improperly installed but it didn’t fit my tooth correctly and that I should not have done the crown. There were a few other challenges but dentists at this office have told me that management is money hungry and try’s to nickel and dime which I now see and they don’t have any type of quality checks. Overall they are very sloppy and are very hasty in telling you to get a procedure to charge you whether you need it or not. I’m sure some dentist’s there are just fine but I really wish I never visited this dentist office. I found a family office that has been in business for quite some time and I see the same dentist everytime. What’s interesting is when I met this new dentist he said they’ve had patients from Waialae that have had major problems with them. But, my new place is great and It’s improved the quality of service I receive drastically. These things may seem like no big deal to you but there are many other challenges I saved for the sake of brevity. Please save your teeth and go somewhere else."
"After a not-so-great visit at Diamond Head dental clinic, I had a wonderful experience visiting Waialae Dental clinic last week. They were very professional and nice, great communication with the medical staff and I loved the fact that they were honest and kind. Will definitely recommend to all of my friends. I’ve tried out different clinics and it seemed to me that they were trying to get me to come back and get more work done (that I didn’t necessarily needed) and bring more money in… This was not the case here and it made me really happy to see very knowledgeable staff, with positive attitudes and good morals. Wonderful job!"
"The nicest dentists, administrative staff and dental hygienists. And, they’re efficient, accurate, professional and good at what they do. And I say this after multiple visits, having had a cleaning, cavities filled and a root canal within a short period of time, and my mouth is much happier for it. Plus, my dentist explained the procedures in response to my inquisitiveness. It’s so cool what they can do…"
