"I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Honolulu Pet Clinic for my fur baby, Bibi, and I must say that the experience was 5 stars. Dr. Barrett and the entire team provided a level of care that was truly outstanding. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted warmly and made to feel like part of the family. The clinic itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable atmosphere for both pets and pet parents. As a fur mom, I had some urgent concerns about Bibi's urinary health, but Dr. Barrett's calm and reassuring demeanor immediately put my fears to rest. She performed a through test and examination as well as communicated his at home treatment in a manner that was clear. Dr. Barrett and her team provided excellent and timely treatment for Bibi without breaking the bank. I truly appreciate their commitment to making veterinary care accessible to all. Overall, I cannot recommend Dr. Barrett and The Honolulu Pet Clinic enough for anyone seeking top-notch care for their beloved pets. "Dr. Meghan Barret is a miracle worker and an Angel that walks among us here on Earth. Our 8 year old baby girl Kahlua a long haired black and tan Dachshund lost the use of her hind legs and also ALL deep pain sensation on May 7th 2023. I cried for 3 straight days as she looked at me with such SAD eyes as if she were saying “Momma how come I can’t run and play anymore?”Kahlua needed 24 / 7 care with changing her diapers and carrying her around everywhere we went. Dr. Barrett’s 1st visit was on May 23rd. She evaluated Kahlua and gave her acupuncture & a laser treatment and also gave me PT excercises to do with Kahlua daily. Dr. Barrett was so compassionate with me and relayed to me that Kahlua was going to get her mobility back. Hearing Dr. Barrett say those words truly comforted my heart. Kahlua has had about 7 acupuncture & Laser treatments and with each treatment she has improved tremendously. She is walking on her own and is out of diapers. "We found Dr. Barrett after our shih tzu, Gizmo was diagnosed with IVDD. He had muscle spasms and had trouble walking and in pain. We decided to treat our Gizzy boy non-surgically with acupuncture, chiropractic and laser therapy. She offers home-visits which is a game changer and offers a better experience for animals in their comfort place. At the end our first session with acupuncture and laser, Gizmo just melted in her hands and kept wanting her presence near him. This connection was amazing to see and we decided to continue with treat every week and now every month! He was able to get off his pain meds just after 1 appointment with Dr. Barrett and supplementing with her CBD recommendation. He made significant improvements in just 3 weeks and no longer has spasms or cries in pain anymore. She also inspired us to begin feeding our dogs whole foods instead of kibble. Now we cook for our pups daily and has become one of my favorite part of the day. :) We are extremely grateful to have someone so passionate in improving animal’s health and well-being.
