"Unfortunately, Petland really seems to have taken a hit from the pandemic that it has yet to recover from. Very understaffed. Most of the cages in the bird section are empty. Prices aren’t very competitive anymore. As others have mentioned, the aquatic section took the biggest hit. The fish look terrible, especially the bettas. Dwindling selection with a lot of empty or redundant tanks. All of the aquatic plants have bug infestations. We’ve shopped at Petland for years and we want to support local, but the current conditions at the store make it difficult to continue to do so."
