"I highly recommend Activation Clinic and Dr. Cho for anyone who wants a better life. I wanted to say a few things about my experience and my husband's (cause he too shy). I have (or had) chronic knee pain probably from years of climbing stairs every day from my old job and from running some marathons some years ago. I had a few steroid injections in the past that got me through a few months and I was taking aleve/advil almost daily. I did not want to get surgery. My friend was a patient here and encouraged me to go get treatment. Dr. Cho recommended shock wave and electromagnetic treatment. The shock wave was kind of painful and the electro magnetic was not too bad. I did a little feel better after each treatment but I just had my 3 month follow up and I feel really good compared to before. Not only does my knee feel better, but my back feels better too. I think I was walking funny because of my knee and that caused me to have back aches! "I am generally very happy with my care at Activation Clinic. I was desperate when I called the office about 6 months ago about my lower back pain and numbing. I have had back pain for many years but it got to the point where the usual otc pain pills were not very effective and I could not sleep. My primary dr was pushing for surgery but I wanted to avoid that if at all possible. I feel really good now after the treatments by Dr Cho and I can sleep through the night! I do feel some pain if I turn a certain way too suddenly so its not perfect, but I otherwise feel back to normal which is saying alot. I took a star off because the treatments are very expensive. "I'm 55 years old and tore my MCL in my right knee riding a One Wheel electric board. The pain was extreme and after hobbling around for quite a while I finally decided to contact Activation Clinic to see if they could help. Dr. Cho was very friendly and informative and recommended EMTT. To be honest my expectations were pretty low. The procedure itself was painless and quick. I was pleasantly surprised that after the very first treatment, I felt less pain. I was thinking..... is this all in my mind or did that really work as well as it did?
