"Was hesitant to stop here because of the negative reviews but I'm glad I did. I pulled in and someone came up to me right away and directed me where to park the trailer. He inspected the trailer and closed the reservation, and then disconnected the trailer for me. He was polite, quick, and helpful. I wish I got his name. Overall it was a good experience and I was there for maybe 10 minutes."

"Rude, incompetent employees and very poor customer service are more than just slogans at U-Haul Carson City. They are instead daily standard operating procedures. Thankfully, the U-Haul at South Lake Tahoe provided me with the trailer that I needed in a polite, professional and efficient manner. It turns out that rude and incompetent employees are not a region wide problem for U-Haul, but instead a uniquely Carson City location issue."

"I will say that the customer service here is amazing. They seem to have a great team that works well with eachother and everyone was very helpful to me. The truck was clean when rented it. The manager of the store was very nice and helpful as well! Best U-haul I've ever been to. They are also building a temperature controlled storage building. Thats going to be great! Thanks guys!"

"Everything was exceptional! The gentleman who checked me in was excellent, the gentleman who got the truck ready was excellent, and the gentleman who processed the return was exceptional! Everyone I talked to on the phone & those in the building while I waited for my family to pick me up were wonderful & so friendly. The 10' box truck was clean, ran well, and had cold a/c. It was actually a pleasure to have to rent a truck to empty a storage unit! Ok, U-Haul was the only pleasant part, but I thank the staff at this location for being the high point of my day & for being so professional, friendly, and helpful! I appreciated having a place to sit & have a beverage while waiting for my family! I never post reviews but I feel this is definitely worth the time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

"Gary was brash was spoke rudely. He had horrible customer service! Jean Paul had left for the day by the time I dropped the truck off at 10am. Gary called JP and said there was nothing they could do for me due to concerns with the 10 ft truck I rented. I didn't ask for them to do anything, though, so his tone was unnecessary. The customer service at the Carson City location lost my business. I called and spoke with Vanessa with customer service. SHE WAS AMAZING!"
