"This is a really great office with a really great doctor. I didn’t have to wait, they got me right in for my appointment. And if your kid is sick and you need to bring them in asap, they have certain times a day that they will take them, that way your kid can still be seen but the patients with appointments still don’t have to wait. A very organized office and the staff is amazing. The doctor is incredible, my 1 year old was always terrified of going to the doctors, but this doc made him laugh and smile the whole time, even when checking his ears, it was incredible."

"Let me tell you about Dr. Nishihara. The day after our daughter was born, Dr. Nishihara was the first one in the hospital room to visit us at 6am. He greeted me, then greeted our baby like they were old friends. As he is chatting away with her, he starts to do her first exam, and finds she has a dirty diaper. Did he ask me, a still bleeding and bedridden new mom to change the diaper? Did he wake up my sleeping husband to change the diaper? Did he call in nursing staff to change the diaper? No, no, and no--Dr. Nishihara did it himself; no complaints, no fanfare. After his exam was finished, he made sure I knew that I should be resting as much as possible. He gave the baby back to me, washed his hands again, and then picked up a kit of disinfecting wipes and spray he had brought with him. Dr. Nishihara sanitized our entire hospital room single-handedly. As he talked to us about the importance of frequent feedings to lower the baby's bilirubin levels, he wiped down the blinds, the sink, the cabinets, the railings on my hospital bed. He even wiped down my husband's convertible chair/bed. I have never felt so thoroughly taken care of by a medical professional before or since then. I feel it would have been going above and beyond for him to call staff in to say "hey can you please change this diaper" or "can you make sure to sanitize the surfaces in the room they are likely to touch", but Dr. Nishihara did the dirty work himself, without expectation of praise or reward, because he genuinely cares about kids and families. I have read a couple of complaints here about the late policy at his office, but my husband and I love it, especially during this pandemic. Even when we arrive early for an appointment we don't wait in the waiting room more than 5 minutes before the nursing staff take us to our own exam room to weigh and measure the baby. I appreciate that Dr. Nishihara and his staff respect their time and my time, and I love that I don't have to waste the day waiting for my appointment with a newborn. If you're the type of person who is chronically late then this isn't the office for you. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Dr. Nishihara and his staff. We are beyond lucky to have him as our daughter's pediatrician. Update two years later in 2024: Dr. Nishihara has continued to take above-and-beyond care of our daughter. We called his office panicking the day before Christmas Eve, a Saturday when his office was closed, due to our daughter's symptoms. We expected an advice nurse to call us back, but nope, it was Dr. Ryan himself and he rushed a prescription through for us. I cannot emphasize this enough: he called us himself, personally, the Saturday before Christmas when absolutely everything was closed because everybody wants to spend time with their families for the holiday. When Dr. Ryan should have also been enjoying that time with his family, he still carved out time to take care of our little girl. Dr. Ryan is a phenomenal human being and our family counts him among our blessings. There are no words to describe how grateful we are for Dr. Ryan."

"I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Nishihara! We decided to take our newborn baby girl here after searching for a pediatrician in the Las Vegas area. I called another place trying to get her in, but they were hard to reach. I stumbled upon Meadows while researching through our insurance, and found out a friend also takes her children here. She had nothing but amazing things to say, so I figured we would give it a go. From day 1, Dr. Nishihara has been so caring towards our baby and so informative. I feel like I always learn something new everytime we go for a visit. He also doesn't hesitate to answer any questions you have. He is very thorough, and is so gentle with our baby. He talks to her and tells her how great she's doing. He also shows us graphs and stats to help us better understand different things he's explaining to us. He's very strict about being on time for appointments, but I love that. You want him to take his time to care for your child, he wants you to value his time. He also is very matter of fact, which I also greatly appreciate. I respect his honesty. His office staff is also so kind and caring. I really can't say enough about them. I highly highly recommend Meadows for anyone's children."
