"Instead of trashing this Dr and speaking the truth about her practices in 2023/2024, I'll keep it somewhat short. Dr Wierman, it's in my non-professional opinion that you have "Physician Burnout" .: Physician burnout is a long‑term stress reaction which can include the following: Emotional exhaustion. Depersonalization (i.e. lack of empathy for or negative attitudes toward patients). That's said, you have also passed on your emotional stress or anger onto your employees. I would love to say how rude 2 employees you have are constantly, but in all fairness you have passed your disease onto your employees. They are rude because you are rude and have zero manners. It's very unfortunate that lab services& other Drs, have not so kind things to say when your name comes to light. Please retire, please!!!! I'm begging you, retire"
"Bottom line: Christmas Eve I was sitting with my mother in the ER, Dr. Wierman walked in, said hello to the family, answered a few questions, and then ordered labs. Their Chemo Department has always accommodated our needs and the many changes with our schedule. Not one complaint from them. Who could ask for more?"
"The best Doctor I ever seen. She just glanced at me and said hi but in that one glance she saw everything, even my red eye. Connected the dots between my symptoms, asked and listen to answers. Wish that my primary doctor, or every doctor, is like that."
"Do not go here this is a total mill factory for cancer patients. This place is dirty, I see needle tips on the floor open trash cans next to chemo patience. some of the nurses don't even use gloves. There appointments also are not on time and they do not give you a plan of action of what they're going to do to you."
"Incredibly thankful for Dr. Wierman's support while my mom is going through a tough moment with Breast Cancer. She reacted swiftly connecting us also with a radiologist, physicians and surgeons while prescribing medication for on going treatment. I personally loved their staff and I could tell they are trying their best + super polite. We had to switch oncology offices due to the 35 minute drive each way. To the office: I would recommend hiring a technology consultant + operations lead with a proven track record of building systems. Appointment reminders should be fully automated and calling should flow correctly without a front desk member directing to a potential voice mailbox. There's a lot of opportunity to improve this process as a first impression. Referrals should be up to date to match accepting providers to insurance. I'm luckily savvy to navigate our healthcare system – this would be challenging for my mom. This will free up time for the Nurses / NPs to get ahead and call back patients for support and focus on high level questions for treating patients (which is what they mostly are interested in doing). This would hopefully start freeing up time for Dr. Wierman to focus on research on updated technology for medicine for treating patients instead of operational Qs or revisions that create long waiting queue flows all around. Feedback forms would be great and suggestions on how to communicate with patients would be greatly welcomed. Some people want a lot of info on their prognosis, others are just going with the Dr teams goals. Mood measurements, language and working styles are critical as a first step working with a patient. This should be captured at the very beginning (initial welcome up paper work + packet of the oncology staff) to develop empathy immediately with the patient on how they want to work with this team. I'm hopeful, excited and overall grateful for getting us through major initial steps. I hope you all implement changes that turn potential yellow flag on office health to somewhere you're absolutely proud to be at. Good luck!"
