"So Penny was recommended to me in middle school by my guidance counselor after I had a stint with self harm. I entrusted her with my deepest secret and thought she was on my side until about 7 years later when I finally went to court for the matter. She refused to testify against my abuser, demanding some compensation and free accommodations if she were to do it ( court was in Dallas TX ). Because of her not testifying, my abuser went Scott free and my family and I were called liars in front of an entitled courtroom. She’s not in the business to genuinely help, otherwise she would’ve helped put my abuser on the sex offender list. Don’t waist a dime."

"Penny goes well beyond and holds people accountable. This won't be everyone's cup of tea as part of counseling is owning your decisions and working on those issues. Penny gives you the tools to help you be successful, but she doesn't guide your ship that is your job. I have seen the growth in my children and it works. Coming from an abusive situation and trying to learn what healthy is has not been an easy journey, but every day it gets better. I read the bad reviews and it is sad they were not ready for the journey so it is easier to blame someone else. Penny is good and if you want to improve get ready for the journey."
