"Made a virtual appointment with him, he looked over my evaluation and said he saw nothing wrong with me. So, he was confused on why I made the appointment. And that I should try another therapist. My guess is I wasn't "messed up" enough for him. If you are not homicidal, suicidal or any of the extremes do not go to this therapist. This session was invalidating and triggering for me. Please keep in mind I was visibly upset and crying as he was telling me that I was "fine". It took me months to get the courage to try and book another therapy appointment with someone else."
"Dr. Gosse has helped me utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to confront and overcome anxiety-related issues for over 18 months. He is professional, exceptionally competent, and truly the best psychologist I could ever have hoped for. I have zero hesitation in recommending Dr. Gosse."
"Recently, I have been going through a multitude of problems associated with mass stress attacking me at the same time (family deaths, death of my 21 year old dog, loss of employment etc.). I was coping with these issues dangerously by not taking care of myself and not working through these unprecedented circumstances smartly and with little concern for myself. Essentially, everyone's problems took first place and I myself began to languish. I knew it was time to talk with someone who could help me understand my personal and broken approach to these circumstances and to find better tools in the "tool box" to use to regain a healthy and vital life. Dr. Gosse was the EXACT antidote that I needed. We clicked immediately and he helped me through counsel and excellent reading materials (which require work and participation) to lead me to a better path. Today, I complete two months of ZERO alcohol (to cope), I'm walking every morning, my outlook and approach have me taking care of myself infinitely better, and I am much healthier and happier. Talking with Dr. Gosse and being his patient have helped me immensely and if you're experiencing some of the things I was going through, consider your desire to reach out a position of strength and not weakness. He is a wonderfully talented and caring human being. I am grateful our paths crossed and I will use his counsel and support throughout the rest of my life."
"I've been seeing Dr. Gosse on and off for the past six years. For both family and professional issues. Not only did he teach some coping techniques he also helped me understand how my own behavior and communications style was contributing to my stress, and how to make positive changes. Therapy will work though it's not a short term fix. It's long term behavior modification and once I understood this, life became so much easier."
"In the beginning of his sessions and end he hands you an evaluation of how you are before the session begins and afterwards. I always wanted to believe the best in people but after awhile I couldn't agree with his practices (especially his fake well to do intentions anymore), so I ended up walking out of his office. My husband and I went to his office for marriage counseling. I feel he doesn't have the best intentions and did not get the heart of the matter after being there for almost a month. It seems like he was just dragging us on and on for $300 a session. That also it wasn't nice of me to get upset at anything ( I thought maybe it was a new way of communicating that I need to learn- to keep a solemn face and voice down to keep the session going and some how this is the right way to communicate). When I did show my feelings and disagreement for a misunderstanding or lie from my husband, I'm greeted with a sullen face and dissatisfaction , and him imitating someone who was yelling at me for something made up. His words were... after I corrected a lie (that I was about to prove from my text messages)... 'Well supposedly that happened..." He went on to imitate someone who was accusatory towards me. Every time I went to his sessions I thought we would get over his berating me and get some where and move forward but it didn't happen. This is my sick way of thinking I'm sticking around this is for a good cause and we are going to make our marriage better. Maybe it was because I wasn't the one with money, or that I was a woman or that I am asian he Hates me. Who knows. We did not get the same treatment as the other couple in the past who got her money back but I'm sure he likes his money too. Christian (Christ like) ... I doubt it. Which was one reason why I went with his practice. I said to my husband the relationship was over that day and later on he agreed Dr. Goss did make our relationship worse. My husband gave him some advice on how to run his practice better as he told me. So there is no way I would write a good review about him. I would give him a less than 1 star if possible."
