"I have been a customer of Kelly Gerdon's office for over 15 years. I don't think I have ever filed a claim. This year I had an excessive leak while I was in Chicago for chemotherapy. My roof leaked really bad in my garage. I was just under the assumption I would have to pay to spot fix the leak as I have been doing for the last few years for the other leaks. It is a flat roof with foam and I pay to get it recoated every two years and just had to pay to get the skylights resealed. Under advise of others I contacted my insurance to see if they could do anything as I have been a customer for so many years; through many different vehicles and properties. I explained all this to Kelly's office and they said "they would see what they can do for me". I was contacted by an adjuster and made an appointment to come see me. First, the adjuster was over 30 minutes late for the appointment window. Then he tells me that I does not cover a missed leak even a bad one, because that is home maintenance and should have been fixed by us. I don't know why he came to tell me that when they could have told me that over the phone, that my policy would not cover it. I explained all this to Kelly's office. He sat is his car talking to his company for a while and came it to tell us no it wasn't covered. Thanks for wasting my day.. I was then called by American Family about my dogs I have two medium sized mutts, they wanted me to tell them specific breeds. I don't even know that. They are incredibly sweet and older dogs. What does that even matter? You want the specifics on the breeds of my cats too? I just received a letter from them stating I need to have my roof repaired by October now or they are dropping my policy. Oh don't worry you wont have my money/policy anymore. I will voluntarily change it now. F-- poor customer service for the customers they should be trying to keep"
