"I WAS ADMITTED TO MOUNTAIN VIEW HOSPITAL WITH A HEART RELATED PROBLEM. I WAS GIVEN A COVID TEST ON ADMITTANCE WITH A NEGATIVE RESULT. TWO SHUNTS WERE INSTALLED IN MY HEART, THESE WERE ADDED TO THE THREE SHUNTS THAT HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED. ON THE DAY I WAS TO BE RELEASED I WAS GIVEN A COVID TEST WITH POSSATIVE RESULTS. I WAS KEPT IN THE HOSPITAL FOR AN ADDITIONAL WEEK AND THEN RELEASED TO RECOVER AT HOME. I CONTRACTED THE COVID VIRUS WHILE AN IN PATIENT IN MOUNTAIN VIEW HOSPITAL."
"My best friend died under UHC, because it was all they had on his wife's retirement plan. UHC refused his surgeon's (and our) request to let him go to the area's best rehab clinic to get stronger and go home. All they would approve was a dirty nursing home, so we lost our loved one. They shouldn't even be in business. They're not about "health" or "care", it's all $$$$$."
"I felt my 6 month visit with my Health Care Physician on Aug. 3rd was a waste of time, and very disappointing. Wasn't able to have the quality time as once before. Felt rushed, which does work for me being I suffer PTSD, Major Depression, and high levels of Anxiety. I cannot focus well when in a rushed state. I get forgetful, and overwhelmed, and I will mask my feelings to not get upset, and explosive. Felt like a triage situation, and being left sitting in puzzlement in the exam room, as to what just happened., when Caroline had to go, and not everything was covered as to my needs, and questions/concerns.The waiting room wasn't busy when I arrived, and felt relaxing, but got in the exam room, and everything sped up. I'm glad I don't pay, because I would have refused to pay. So after finding a great doctor almost 3 years ago, becomes a not liking my visits, the question comes up, will I stay, look for another Doctor that can have quality time with their patients, or figure it's the way it's going, more patient loads, and treat us like cattle, or just not go to a doctor ever again. Don't waste my time with overloading your workload of patients, and I won't waste your time to be in the room to finish the visit properly. I'm so not happy, and very upset that patient load takes importance over one on one care. I had a matter about feeling sick in our apartment, and possibly being mold, and brought a piece that goes on the unit on top of the sink, that has this ugly black stuff in it, and wanted it looked at, and being rushed, and cut off, never got to showing it. Part of my mental state is feeling I matter, and I left feeling I didn't matter. With lately feeling I want to just Check out, my mind is fragile, and I have thoughts of nobody cares any more. And Nevada is one of the worse to have uncaring people It's how I feel, and it matters, because I am a patient, not cattle to rush in, and rush out, and not take the proper time to examine. One of the worse visits I ever had in the 3 years coming to this Office."
"I went in just to make a payment and the security guard/front desk lady was snappy from the get go, and to add to the experience they did not take debit cards and would not allow me to use the ATM in the hallway because she stated that it was only for the employees even after I was sent there by another office because people before me used that same ATM. Although I only went to make a payment, I have had very negative experiences on the phone, online, and now in person. Hope things improve, if anything this will be a good heads up for anyone planning on going."
