"HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Frequently overpromises and under delivers. I took a shirt in for repair on 10/17/2023 and paid $45 using a debit card. At the time I was promised a 4-6 week turnaround time. On 12/19/2023 (over 8 weeks later) I called Shoe Lab asking what the status of the repair was. On 12/20/2023 they called me back to tell me that they were unable to do the repair, so I could come pick up the shirt any time. Took them over 60 days to determine they could not do the work. Then, she said they would not refund the $45 paid because the debit card was replaced with a new card due to an unrelated issue, so I would have to have "store credit." I explained that was predatory and against Nevada state law (specifically NRS Chapter 598). I was told that was their policy, so I not only wasted 60 days, but now they expect me to do business with them a second time. Unacceptable. Will be pursuing a complaint with the Nevada State Attorney General and sharing my experience with everyone I know."
"I took my Valentino Rockstud Caged 60mm sandals in for repair. The insoles were pretty beat up. This would be the second time the Shoe Lab would be working on them for me. I dropped them off approximately 3 weeks ago. A week in I had to call to get an update and they indicated they were sending them out. I called today to get an update and the girl who answered indicated they needed a lot of work and they quoted me $1,040.00 for the work. I let her know they sell brand new from Valentino for $920.... It's quite hard for me to trust this place with anymore of my future work. How can fixing a shoe, even replacing the leather bottom and insole cost more than what the shoe is brand new? Not a reputable business in my eyes."
"We come here for all shoe needs! This last trip was absolutely above and beyond. We asked for our boots to be dyed black and Shoe Lab delivered. Be prepared it was expensive and it did take about 15 weeks. We were made aware of this before drop off and we accepted the conditions of service. I have attached a before and after."
"Excellent work on my motocross boots. Saved me a ton of money over buying new boots. Thanks Claude and Martin!"
"They charged me $100 to “clean and condition” the leather and it came back Looking EXACTLY the same as before. Still dirt all over the strap and absolutely no cleaner. When I expressed my displeasure she said “sorry no guarantees- he still did the work”. What work? This was NOT a $100 service. I will be brining my designer goods elsewhere and I suggest you do the same. Overpriced and underwhelming."
