"I've been getting my prescriptions from the 6865 W Tropicana store for many years. I've had some issues the last year trying to fill my prescription. It's been very frustrating and worrisome every month not knowing if I'm going to have my medication for the month. Dr Cuong has done all he can to help me get my meds every month. He is always very pleasant and a friendly face that keeps me coming back. Thank you Dr Cuong!"
"I don't want to hate this place. I used to love coming here, but everything is under lock and key. I can no longer simply stop by and grab ice cream. Last time I did, I had to wait eight minutes for the understaffed employees to find time to go into the back for the ice cream I wanted. They came back with the wrong ice cream twice after digging in the cold freezer without a sweater. I felt so bad for the chaos she was dealing with because she was one of two employees working an extremely busy hour. I've never gone back. 20 minutes to buy 12 dollars for 2 half sized ice creams that weren't what I ordered. Terrible experience."
"Never really write reviews but I need to let my anger out somehow about the incredible amount of wasted time in this pharmacy. Honestly, just avoid it, it’s not worth it. And the true is the kid at the counter is very nice but lacks organization and communications skills but this is not all his fault they need more staff. I waited a total of 2 hrs at 1.30 in the morning (11:30pm-1:30am) he forgot about me multiple times, they didn’t have my prescription so he asked me tell urgent care to call them. They call and literally saw the phone ringing and put them on hold!!!!! What!!!? Then he proceeded to say they haven’t call. My urgent care call me and told me they keep putting them on hold. Jesus!!! Someone help this kid be better at handling multiple tasks. It’s almost 2 am in the morning and now I have to go to work in 6 hrs. Miserable that’s how I would describe this"
"Terrible location. Find another location. The negative reviews are as honest as they come. Promised me an rx in 30 minutes because it was in her hand, in stock. It's been almost 30 HOURS and now they are telling me they can order it by the end of the week. Took 7 tries and more than 90 minutes on hold to get someone to actually answer the phone."
"Veterans, don't attempt to get "Mission Act" Community Care prescriptions filled here. I brought in a printed prescription from a nearby urgent care facility. The urgent care visit was authorized by and fully covered by the VA, so the prescription was also fully covered by the VA. When I came in and dropped off the prescription, I provided Walgreens all the plan information needed for it to be properly charged to the VA. I was not told there was any kind of discrepancy or issue. But when I came back to pick up the prescription, they first attempted to charge me money. I have no idea how they processed the prescription, but clearly they did not use the information I provided. I again handed them the paper with all the plan information. A staff member took it and spent a long time on the computer, eventually printed new paperwork, and then gave me the prescription. When I looked at the attached paperwork, it had plan information that was different from what I provided. It didn't even have my SSN, but some other mysterious "ID number" I've never seen before. It's certainly not on my VA health care card, nor in my online VA health care account. When I questioned all this, no one had a good explanation. If the information I provided was unusable, why didn't they tell me when I dropped off the prescription? Or call me while they were processing and filling it? Instead, they arbitrarily changed to a different plan, then another plan. Apparently this Walgreens (or is it Walgreens in general?) has no clue how to process and bill prescriptions paid by the VA. I just hope I don't end up being charged for the prescription!"
