"I understand you want to “set a vibe” but the music is entirely too loud for anyone to be able to pay attention, especially the workers. There was just a couple who actually helped the customers. The others were either hiding in the back or staring at spreadsheets at the register. I asked someone if I could just order online and she said she doesn’t know how to do that. It was an experience that made me never want to go back."

"Needed a new pair of "kicks" since the ones I bought recently from WSS are hurting after a few hours. Found something that would work (it's on sale) and of course none in my size. Tried another pair and flagged someone and it's the same thing, the demo is 1/2 size down so I figured at least try it, nope! Found a 3rd pair, guy went into the back for a few minutes then came back with nothing. I gave up after that. I get the ones on sale are limited in stock but even the regular price ones are limited in size, what gives?? Walked to next door (Famous Footwear) and immediately found the one! btw, much better customer service there at least they greet you when you walk in vs Shoe Palace "kids" staff will help you when they feel like it."

"It's in an outlet mall but hardly anything is reduced and only microscopic sale signs. Staff brought us a pair of shoes to try on and immediately disappeared after the hand over even though store was not busy. We were left to lace up the shoes."
