During the phone conversation, I was not provided with an estimate due to the possibility of additional work being required. However, when the technician arrived, he confirmed the need for a control box and assured me that the job could be completed within 30 minutes. I requested a quote, prompting the technician to leave the premises and consult someone over the phone. I was taken aback when the technician returned with a quote of $700 for the control box installation. I found this amount to be exorbitant considering the time it would take and the cost of the control box itself. The technician even felt the price was high. He said he’d get paid regardless of if I went forward with the $700 quote.It would have been appreciated if your pricing had been more transparent, even if it was just an estimate. Knowing the potential cost, I would not have agreed to pay the initial $125."

"Excellent service! Go here first before buying online and support local. I had an issue with my furnace. I got a quote from local HVAC company to change my control board for $1800, so I figured I'd do it myself. I went in for a different part that could have been the issue. After talking with Ernesto, he told me that it could be the control board and that he had it in stock and it costs $183 with tax. He told me how to swap it out, which was super simple.
