"I have been living at lux apartments for the last 6 months. And before that I was living at Melrose gate’s apartment for 14 years. I must say I have experienced some great property manager and have been delighted with their ability to deal with the day to day tasks that they have to deal with. Erin from lux apartment is always on point . I booked the community room a short time after I moved in and the air conditioning unit wasn’t working properly she went out of her way to make sure me and my guess were still cool on that hot day by providing us with a few industrial fans. And was after hours of the office being open . That is just one of the great things she has done to make sure that we could still enjoy ourselves and be comfortable in that area. Every time you run into her she has a smile on her face and if you approach her with the issue, she tries to resolve it in a timely manner. I will be moving because I bought a house but I must say my stay with this company has been a great one especially the last six months when I was frustrated and didn’t know what I was Torn between buying a house or staying here. I would Definitely recommend the Lux Apartments to remember is looking for a place to stay with great vibes and a great property manager. Roberta C"

"the property manager is great however there is always something wrong with the place. when we moved in the place was pretty gross, the shower was full of grime and the act unit hadn’t been cleaned in what seemed like years. the screen door is broken and they still haven’t fixed it. had to get our dishwasher replaced because it was broken, the maintenance guy messed up and the floors started leaking water and i won’t be surprised if we’re charged for it at the end of the lease. haven’t had hot water in two days, the thermostat is being controlled by a nickel. never had this many issues with renting edit from the next day: THEY KNEW THERE WOULDNT BE HOT WATER THIS WHOLE TIME. DIDNT TELL ANYONE. IT IS THE MIDDLE OF DECEMBER. can’t wait for this lease to end"

"I recently moved into Park Trails. The Leasing Manager, Helen Vos, is absolutely fantastic! She is professional, courteous, and was extremely helpful throughout my move-in process. Along with her professionalism, Helen is also very personable, which is so refreshing. Every Leasing Manager should take their cues from Helen!!"

"I am giving three stars based on the nice staff, shout out to Tony. Otherwise, I would have rated lower because of the way they handle security deposits. Unfortunately, they are one of those rental companies that nickel and dime you once you move out and expect you to pay for the cleaning you did, even though they will not do any cleaning once you leave. When I initially moved in, my apartment was DIRTY. I was charged for the floor not being cleaned, though when I moved in, the floor was disgusting and smelly and when I left, it was clean and shiny. The most unfortunate part was that my living room window was full of bird poo, and when I asked for it to be cleaned, I was told "we don't clean the windows". So everyday, I got to enjoy the lovely view out the main window in my home. If you decide to move into one of their buildings, make sure you plan to not get your full deposit back and take lots of pictures because they will squeeze as much money from you as they can. Good luck out there tenants!"

"I am not happy with how they took almost all my down payment of $1069 and paid me back $119. One of the rooms had a stain but they decided to replace carpets in the two rooms. I took care of the apartments through out my five years stay. My experience makes me feel they don't want to give you your down payment so they always look for ways to take your money. Here is a picture of my apartment at the time I left. For the management there is nothing like wear and tear. All they have in mind is to take all your deposit no matter how much you take care of their home they will not refund your deposit."
