"Worst management company I have ever rented from. They false advertise their apartments along with the pool/hot tub and exercise room. They pick and choose which lease violations are important to address and which aren’t. (All violations should be treated equally) They have done nothing to help prevent package theft or catch the person who is stealing, besides posting a sign and sending out a notice. One weekend it was -20 and the heat stopped working on a Friday and it was not fixed until the Tuesday after. We received no notice when the heat wasn’t working or once the heat was fixed. I do not recommend renting from TruHome at any of their properties."

"My partner and I have been continuously working with TruHome Property Solutions on quite a few major and minor maintenance issues throughout the apartment we have decided to rent from them, and to say the least- we are impressed! Huge fist bump to Derek the owner, front end staff, and all maintenance personnel working around the clock to serve their tenants needs! Thank you for your hard work and most importantly giving my partner and I a very decent place to live for such a low price!"

"My washing machine was broken and they came and repaired it. The Maintenance Guy was very nice & polite. I had a very old machine. After 3 loads it started leaking again. They promptly came back and decided some parts needed to be replaced. After a couple of he called and asked if could have access right away. He brought someone else with him. They looked at it, had a discussion and told me they were going to get me a brand new washing machine. And They Did!! I love it! I works wonders and doesn't leak!! ❤️"

"Truhome properties makes you feel like family. Our oven died on us 3 days before Thanksgiving and truhomes maintenance came the same day and bought us a new oven. We are so thankful for the staff and maintenance staff. It really is a pleasure living here. Plus our neighbors are so friendly and helpful."

"From the time the manager said in the final walk-through, “we want to document every little thing so we can retain as much of the tenant’s deposit as possible”, I had unnerving doubts about the integrity of TruHome property management. As a military family who was relocating, we really needed a company we could trust being so far from our rental… Countless lies; from multiple sketchy maintenance billing (double billing and unnecessarily long times to “fix” things) to another completely and disproven fabricated story about why they let another adult live in our home without being on the lease, our question whether Derek doesn’t know what’s going on in his company vs willfully covering it up was made clear. Thankfully, since learning that using TruHome would only cause more issues than they were capable of solving, we dropped them. Our relationship with the tenant has been great ever sense and management and maintenance has been a lot smoother, competent and less stressful without them. I am not in the habit of leaving negative reviews, as I love to help support local businesses, but I really hope that other families will consider my review before entrusting this company with their properties. I have nothing to gain from this other than peace of mind saving others from a dishonest company whose only concern seems to be generating more income for their company no matter the means with no regard for the people or honesty. This is our family’s livelihood and not something we take lightly. I expect Derek to leave a snarky comment as a reply to this review as he has sadly done in many other reviews, but it will just confirm the experiences we have had with him that lacked professionalism and were heavily infused with emotion (on his end)."
