"hands down the second-best mental health facility i've been to, i was admitted for attempting suicide after a lot of issues i had with my parents. the nurses and tech were really compassionate and caring, there were hardly any conflicts that escalated beyond just uno games in the dayroom. the environment was very friendly and welcoming, and whenever i was misgendered or deadnamed, it was corrected instantly. the food was very filling and healthy, there were accommodations for the patients with eating disorders, and you could ask the lunch staff for more helpings any time :D we frequently got to do group sessions and activities were always available to us no matter what. there were also plenty of opportunities to ask a therapist for help or request to call family or close friends outside the facility using a wall phone instead of one at the desk. although, the last time i went was in december of 2022, so that may have changed. furthermore, there was a quiet room for anyone who needed time to themselves, which i think is extremely helpful to patients who struggle with sensory processing issues or with anxiety attacks such as myself. TLDR: i highly recommend this place, their way of handling their patients is one of the best in vegas. if your child or family member needs any accommodations whatsoever, they do everything they can to ensure their recovery and safety. 10/10 !!"
"I went here right after inpatient and the program they have is so helpful for adjusting back into life. The staff are kind and helpful, and everyone there genuinely cares about you and your mental health."
"I had a great experience with their PHP & IOP group therapy program. Wonderful therapist, social workers and staff assistance. They gave me great coping skills to combat my depression. I Highly Recommend them to anyone dealing with any mental health issues."
"When I was 17 I stayed here after a mental breakdown I wasn’t in the best shape but I didn’t wanna take my life. I was really just a mess. Stayed here for a week and it was a hugely refreshing stay. At first I panicked but after the second day I realized I was there and it’d be easier if I just went with it. To say the least I’m happier than I was before I went in. The staff was blunt but still nice. Everyone actually cares and encourages you to stay out once you get out. Some of the kids there were on their third or fourth visit but instead of going back I moved on. You gotta want help if you go to this type of place voluntarily. Some of the kids there were mandated to be there and some of them didn’t belong. Like I met a kid who ran away from home because he just didn’t wanna be with his parents."
"This place is an illegal nightmare. DO NOT go there. I'm in the process of filing a law suit against them. The staff here is scarier than the people locked up. The food is not edible, I'm disabled and I told every staff member I was in distress and no help, the refused to give me my HIV meds an and inhaler, locked me up without meeting with a psychiatrist, and they don't have beds! They have hard plastic covered mats smaller than a single bed. This place should be shut down."
