Reviews
"I am beyond myself with the experience I've had with this medical facility. I have no complaints about my doctor, Steven Yates. He is first rate. The nurses who do infusions are first rate. The problem is getting to these people. The staff for this facility is straight out of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. No one returns calls. No one can set an appointment unless things have gone into emergency, full panic mode. Worst of all, nobody confirms appointments at this facility. This is the only business that I deal with that does not have any kind of automated appointment calendar. (And I'm a small business owner, so I deal with all kinds of businesses, in addition to my personal affairs.) I deal with at least 20 businesses on a normal basis and an appointment or delivery is never missed. With this facility, you are 100% responsible for yourself. I tried for ONE MONTH SOLID to get a simple appointment to come in for a transfusion. I have had any number of transfusions at this facility since 2020. But my calls were not returned, I was ignored completely. Joanne, who is Dr. Yates purported manager, has taken a personal dislike to me. That is based upon the fact that when she became belligerent with me for missing appointments I told her that I dealt with over 20 other companies and NEVER missed an appointment, because the other companies operate in the 21st Century and this one does not. But it is always the patient's fault, with these people. Again, my doctor is a good one, which is why I put up with this level of disrespect and ineptitude, and the next time I talk with him I am hopeful that something constructive can come out of our conversation. And I have no complaints about the nurses who actually do the infusions. It is the infrastructure, the staff of this facility, which is the problem. If you can fight your way past the staff, you can get some good medical care. Good luck, you'll need it."
