"Pain and Spinal clinic referred me to Khavkin Clinic for a second opinion. Because I'm a disabled veteran, referrers must be approved by the VA, once the referral was approved by the VA; it took multiple phone calls to schedule an appointment. Finally, I was scheduled for 12 noon. Day of my appointment, I arrive at 1140 and was seated in a room about 1155. Of note, no other patients were in the waiting room. After waiting 45 minutes for the doctor, I stepped out of room and asked the front desk person, is it standard to wait 45 minutes to see the doctor. He replied the doctor wasn't in the office and was on his way to the office. After being told the doctor wasn't even in the office I left the facility. I can't understand why a doctors office would schedule me for an appointment time when they know the doctor wouldn't be there. It was a complete waste of my time. I informed the VA and was referred to a different doctors' office. I want to be clear, I can't blame the doctor for the inconvenience but I do blame his staff or better yet the person that scheduled my appointment. Because of my experience, I wouldn't recommend any one to this place."

"I will never come here again I had my herniated disc removal here and I'm haven issues to still since 2018 Over a minor procedure. Still this day my scar gets weird abscess and fluid in back I'm in hospital not get fluid drained all that my back wasn't closed and done correctly. But some ladies here are nice though. First dr who did my back he left then dr khakin took over my last 2 flush outs and still haven issues."

"Wish I could give zero stars. Run don’t walk!!! I was seen by Dr K for a tumor in my C8 nerve root. He said we could take it out like it was no big deal. Luckily I’m a Physical Therapy Assistant and have knowledge in this. I knew that was the ONLY nerve that innervates the hand. I questioned him about it and he reassured me that it was no big deal. Something didn’t sit well so I got a second opinion from Dr Flangas (AMAZING DR) He told me that I was absolutely correct and that it would have paralyzed my left hand. He sent me to UCLA for further testing. The neurosurgeon there further backed what Dr Flangas and I said. This tumor can not be removed without paralysis. Thank goodness it wasn’t cancer. It causes me pain but I’d rather have pain than no hand. So I have learned to live with it for now. As I said I am A therapist. I NEED my hand for work. At 35 years old he would have completely destroyed my life for a pay check. DISGUSTING! I have had patients that he has completely destroyed for life. As I dug further in the medical community and looked for records I have Never seen a dr have so many law suits! And I have Been told by other peers and Drs that many of his law suites have been settled out of court and then hidden. Not sure who he is paying to keep his license but this is not an ethical dr by any means! Do not let him cut into you or a loved one he only cares about money not your wellbeing. If I didn’t have the knowledge I do he would have paralyzed me without a second thought. He knew what it would do to me and did not care! He destroys lives for money and does not care."

"My husband is repeat patient due to injuries but Dr Khavkin and all his office staff have made his quality of life so much better and helped with his pain immensely! He was highly recommended by chicago colleagues and with good reason! 10/10!"
