"The staff here was just simply amazing. I can not give it up enough to the nurses, all the shifts, just so caring and helpful. I have nobody in my life to help me what I am going thru, but they made me feel like I was their family. Thank you, Spring Valley Hospital, for my stay this past week. Nurses are truly amazing."
"I had such a great experience delivering our first baby at Spring Valley. The labor and delivery nurses were amazing!! Ashley O was the best nurse I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with and was so very thoughtful and attentive. Best nurse ever!! She made the experience so comfortable and effortless and you can see the staff truly cares about their patients."
"The nurses are really friendly. That’s the 3 stars. But I’m been in the er for a long time the lab test process has taking me almost 2days. And it’s taking longer then 24 hours to get am MRI. I have a whole family to take of. I am ready to go home but I have to make sure I’m healthy. For my children"
"I recently went to the ER for lower, abdominal pain and was seen pretty quickly. Several test were run and when the results were ready, a nurse practitioner discussed with me her diagnosis. They found that I had a large kidney stone, most likely too big to pass on its own. And she recommended that they keep me and have a urologist check me out and do the procedure to remove the stone. After almost 6 hours in the ER, they were able to manage my pain and then they decided to send me home. No medications. The only thing I was given was a referral to a urologist. When I asked what would happen if the pain occurred. She told me to take ibuprofen. Even though they had given me two shots of morphine and a shot of Toradol. But now ibuprofen should be enough, not! So here it is six days later and I still have not been able to get into the doctor they referred me to and this stone is still causing me pain and discomfort. I know eventually we will get this taken care but what I don’t understand is why they didn’t do it when I was already equipped with an IV, they had given me several shots and decided to let someone else worry about it, I’m not impressed, not even a bit. On top of all that you don’t get a bed in the ER at least at this hospital, they leave you in the lobby where they take you to your testing and then back in the lobby. Pretty crappy if you ask me. The nurse was amazing. All of the people I dealt with were quite good and sympathetic. Even the nurse practitioner was very very confident. However, the attending physician for the ER who I never met or saw is the one that decided I should just go home and worry about it there. Won’t be highly recommending hospital anytime soon."
"I recently had the joyous experience of delivering my FIFTH baby at The Birthplace at Spring Valley Hospital, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The care and attention provided by the entire staff were exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported, comforted, and in expert hands. My labor and delivery nurses Corey and Yvette truly made me feel like I was their top priority the entire time I was in their care! Both charge nurses on each shift made it a point to check on me and make sure I was comfortable as well. The facilities were immaculate, the medical team was incredibly knowledgeable, and the personalized care I received made me feel safe and empowered throughout the birthing process. My labor was moving pretty quickly and I was worried I wasn’t going to be able to get an epidural but the team made sure to put the orders in quickly to ensure that didn’t happen. Every member of the staff, from nurses to doctors, displayed genuine compassion, professionalism, and expertise. At one point even the manager Jenny came to check on me and congratulate my husband and I. She also took the time to answer a few questions my husband had about different labor side effects I was experiencing such as the mild shaking and nausea. The Birthplace at Spring Valley Hospital made the birth of my child an unforgettable, positive experience. I am immensely grateful for their exceptional care and would wholeheartedly recommend this facility to anyone looking for an outstanding birthing experience. Five stars without a doubt!"
