"I don’t understand how this doctor’s office has the rating it does. My experience today was very unsatisfactory. I walked into the office and as I was getting ready to sign in the front desk receptionist grabbed the clipboard and held onto it for a few minutes while I patiently waited. After she put it down and I signed in, I was called up to get me information. The receptionist asked what pharmacy I used and I stated Walgreens but then said if there are any long term medicines that I need (which was a huge part of the reason I was there) that they need to go through the mail service that my insurance provides. The receptionist just kept telling me they don’t use it. I told her that as a former employee in the medical field that this was the first I have ever heard of a doctor not using this service. She just kept telling me, “I don’t know what to tell you.” Then she said she’d ask a supervisor and came back out saying, “If I can’t find it in our system we don’t use it. My supervisor said we don’t use this mail service.” So now I’m frustrated because there’s no point of me seeing the doctor if I can’t get the medicines I need so I told her, “I’m not sure what to do. I needed a new primary care doctor but there’s no point of being seen if you can’t give me my meds.” to which the receptionist replied again, “I don’t know what to tell you. Do you want your appointment or not?” So I refused and said I’d find another doctor’s office. She gave me back my cards with a huge smile (like she was happy I couldn’t be seen) and said “Okay, have a good day. Bye.” I then called the office back to have my information deleted from their system since I signed up for their patient portal and the guy I talked to (Noah) was so nice and apologized for the inconvenience and the rudeness of the receptionist, then he asked what mail service I used and it turned out, THEY USE IT! The receptionist just didn’t want to do her job! Noah asked if I wanted to come back and be seen but by then it was a bad first impression and I refused it. He apologized again and got my information taken out of their portal. So sad that as a first time patient, this was my experience. And I never even got to see the doctor due to someone not wanting to do their job efficiently. Very disappointing. And I will not be going back."
"We just moved back to Vegas, and we needed to find a new doctor as I do have a lot of health issues in my family history. Based on the reviews, I chose this doctors office. The front office staff is friendly, and the lab tech is great. She managed to get my stubborn veins on the first go, which is an impressive feat. This is why I'm giving this facility to stars. The visit with the Dr was horrible, it was for me and my son, they took us back together and did the appointments together, the Dr that saw me seemed rushed, didn't ask much about medical history, even though my paperwork highlighted I was a smoke this wasn't recorded or mentioned, the fact that I was overweight wasn't mentioned, he did the basic ears, throat and nose check on me and my son and then rushed us in to get our blood drawn. Our appointment was at 3:30 and we had eaten multiple times that day. I need accurate, fasting blood tests due to the diabetes that runs in my family. My chart showed my blood pressure was high and no mention of that either. I didn't know until I got the patient portal access. Overall, I'm disappointed with this visit and feel like the doctor didn't really care about us or was too rushed to actually sit down and do the well checks we were there for. I don't think I'll be coming back here."
