"I tried to return an online order in the store. The manager, Jonathan, refused to return it because he said it wasn’t in his system. He told me to call customer service because it wasn’t his job to do so to resolve the problem. I called customer service, and I was told he absolutely could have taken the return. She said many managers are just lazy, and they don’t want to bother accepting online returns if they are from a Macy’s 3rd party seller."
"Bad customer service! Thomas is rude when talking to customers. I overheard him talked to 2 women in line and I first tried to ignore, but when it was my turn I felt bad leaving the store talking to this guy! He uses words such as “oh yeah you know you get free stuff! Dont you know the policy! Next time bring the receipt! (Even though they have the QR code and order number in their phone) Workers here are rude to customers! I returned my item by shipping it back instead. Do not waste your time in this store!"
"Just went in today to get my measurements for a suit and literally everybody I talk to either said no English and walked away or just ignored me. Don't go here nobody will help you."
"I was excited that this location opened up. However i will never return. I purchased a "made for macys exclusive" Michael kors coat, with an "original" price of $400 but marked down to $160 for black Friday. I owned this coat less than a WEEK and only wore it TWICE and the gold metal belt loops completely fell off!!! Now I understand the return policy but I also know for a FACT that it is up to the manager's discretion as to whether or not any exceptions are made to the store policy. I went back to the store with my coat and my receipt in hand to seek out an even exchange. I spoke to the manager Amanda. Everything about this woman was rude especially when she said to me "can't you read? The return policy is written on the receipt". Excuse me?? I know how to read I'm a college-educated woman! I was just hoping that a place like Macy's could be understanding and stand behind the quality of their product. It's a coat valued at $400 and it fell apart in less than a week!!! I didn't even want a refund, i loved the coat! I simply wanted an even EXCHANGE. Well since Amanda decided to be so cold instead of providing good customer service, i got my money back through my bank. I guess Macy's would rather be hit with a CHARGE BACK instead of making the situation right and simply doing an even exchange. And i even told Amanda that i would be contacting my bank. She still did not care. I feel so insulted and disrespected. I honestly don't think I want to shop at any Macy's ever again."
"I stopped at this newer location in the Crossings shopping center to see if they had shoes and a jacket. Both items were available and on sale, so it ended up being a great trip. Smaller store area compared to most Macys in town, but they carried a good selection of clothing and shoes for men and women. Parking was easy and not crowded in the later afternoon. Will return for future shopping needs."
