"My first time ever going to Plato’s closet and I had a very welcoming experience, I forgot the names of the girls helping me but they were so friendly and helpful. I came in to sell some clothes and understand not everything is going to be sold but I was happy with what I was able to sell and they definitely gave me a price I was happy with, way better than holding onto clothes I’m not even using. One girl explained to me that they aren’t opening for shopping because they aren’t stocked up on the inventory yet which I understand it’s part of their process before opening their store. So far from what I saw they are looking great and it’s totally worth the wait, store looks so clean and organized I can’t wait to go to shop! My only concern would be just to have a breakdown per item that they are buying, as in the price they are offering me per item versus just giving me a total for all. But that’s my personal preference, but overall my experience was amazing and I’ll definitely will be coming back."
"Walked in and the person at the front looked at me like I have three heads and asked me “how can i help you?” When i told them I was there to shop they told me they’re “not open for shopping” and only buying. Which makes no sense seeing as most of the reviews for this place say they refuse to buy things or even look at the things people are trying to sell. Also, if the store isn’t really open, why are the doors unlocked and why do you have 3+ people working? You cant possibly be making any money, and at this point you are actively deterring customers from coming in to browse and potentially spend money! If management had a brain in their head they’d have people reserve time slots or make appointments to sell their items, and prevent potential customers from walking into the store and immediately being turned off from shopping there permanently because you what, wanted to wait for a “grand opening”? It certainly won’t be grand considering you have probably reduced your customer base to a fraction of what it was before because your teenage (and likely underpaid) staff is rude and condescending and your management is too dumb to understand that stores are for shopping in."
"This location is pretty well on par for Platos. From the many I have been in from AZ to TX this location is definitely on the small side and has an awkward layout. Racks tended to be over-stuffed, but I managed to find a couple of things and my daughter found some cool boots. Don't go here thinking you will spend hours, but it is worth a quick look"
