"My seamstress, Dema, made me feel very comfortable with making the alterations needed for my wedding dress. She listened to me, was prompted and managed to get my dress fixed to fit like a glove. When it comes to getting anything alternated, you are the one who needs to say what it is that you want done and double check what may need to be fixed. Ask how much everything is cost before anything is started. Otherwise how do you expect your seamstress to know? Dema is such an amazing and most patient woman working on making dresses more beautiful."

Grace Loves Lace recommend me to Dema to do the alterations on my wedding dress I had purchased through them. She had worked with this brand of dresses before. For those of you that don’t know G.L.L. dresses are made of a unique stretchy lace material. I was worried about alterations due to this fact but the dress turned out exactly how I dreamt it would. She brought in the sides, added push up cups and added a bustle button. I went from liking it on me to loving it. I would 10/10 recommend Dema to anyone. I get married in 2 weeks! "Worked with the seamstress dema for a wedding dress. I live out of state and told her this, when picking it up she did not have the dress finished and asked for me to come back. I felt like this was kind of disrespectful of my time as coming here was an entire day trip. She gave me a small discount, of 25$ out of a 650$ alteration. The tulle she added was cut jagged and she had a month to finish my dress. Pins were left and the bustle done showed my shoes. Not worth the price charged, granted she said she didn’t finish, but I do feel like this was avoidable. All I needed was a tulle layer added and a standard bustle."

"I bought my dress at Brilliant Bridal and they recommended Dema at Victoria Claire for my alterations. My first appointment was mid July, 3 months before my wedding and we finished everything by mid September! I had the zipper removed and corset back put in, created a bustle, added bra cups, removed beading from the straps, and had the dress hemmed. Dema was a true joy, so kind and made me feel very comfortable! The dress looked great and I was so happy with everything. I would definitely recommend Dema, but make sure you give yourself enough time for everything. They also had very beautiful party/prom/formal dresses hanging in the shop that they make! Dema will be my go to for any formal dress alterations in the future."
