"I just remembered that I forgot to write a review for this amazing place when we lost our very loved, sweet dog Arya. My dog had fluid around her lungs and it became a very serious emergency. I took her here to get treatment and I could not speak more highly of how amazing and compassionate the staff was. My husband and I found ourselves in a very hard position of having to let our dog go and before we had to make that decision they gave us all the educated information and advice on what they thought we should do. I loved that they were driven by caring for my dog and what would be best for her well-being instead of the money. They truly love animals here and would never want to see them suffer. We appreciated how much time they spent with us giving every detail of the process. We got to spend all the time we wanted in the room with our dog before having to say goodbye. They told us to take our time and we never felt rushed and we got to be with her to the very end. Even though it was one of the hardest things I have had to experience, we just felt so much love are it made the world of difference. We are blessed God lead us here when we needed them. Thank you to all the staff ❤️"
"I am having a difficult time writing this review because I just feel there are NO WORDS to truly explain how loving, kind, compassionate and professional Dr. Jones, Crystal and all the staff were this week when I found myself in a very scary and heartbreaking situation with my beloved Boston Terrier. When I got home from work my precious best friend was struggling. I made a call to BluePearl knowing I needed help giving him peace. From the phone call to our arrival, we were treated with nothing but the utmost dignity, respect and love. I was counseled in great & gentle detail by various staff members about the entire process and how the staff would assist us in making the last moments of his precious lift peaceful, loving and Godly. The room we were hosted in was private, clean, comfortable and there was no pressure from the staff on how long it took us to say our goodbye. Additionally, I was incredibly impressed on how they assisted me to manage with his final resting arrangements. Thank you all - you were truly a blessing to me & Sammy this week and I am beyond grateful for the love and support you gave to us. May God bless and protect you all! Your work is truly an asset to our community."
"I feel that both the Blue Pearl Hospital and the surgeon Dr. MacLellan were negligent in the post operative care of my dog “Sherpa”. I had repeated ER visits post-surgery costing me thousands of dollars above and beyond the cost of the initial surgery. The travel time, financial hardship, and tremendous stress that my family experienced plus the additional pain and suffering that my dog has endured could have been prevented had antibiotics been prescribed upon discharge from surgery and a follow up visit would have been scheduled with the surgeon or equivalent (since he was on vacation) . The Blue Pearl staff lacks empathy for both the pet and owner. Due to the unwillingness to communicate with me or to follow-up on Sherpa’s condition by both Dr. MacLellan and the Blue Pearl staff, I was forced to seek medical treatment at another hospital 3 hours from my home where Sherpa received the proper, compassionate care that he deserved. ***To the response from Blue Pearl-I have tried to speak with your surgeon that preformed his surgery and was told that because I went to another hospital for emergency treatment (#1 you were closed for 2 days & #2 his surgeon was on vacation) that he would not see him, that I needed to go to the other facility that gave him emergency care."
"Staff and support staff and vets were excellent, welcoming, empathetic and accommodating. We were advised to transfer to another ER when when they closed on Sunday evening. I took care of him at home for several days. On the following Thursday I checked him in to the other ER and Dr. Bell confirmed the initial diagnosis made at Pearl. He was still very sick with no miracles in sight. We made easiest and the hardest decision to euthanize our Dewey."
"The hospital was beautiful and spotless. The team at the desk was beyond professional and took my sick kitty back immediately. The Doctor was very thorough and explained everything she was doing to treat my cat and tests that needed to be run. After that, she was very good at explaining her findings and options. My cat is only 5 and to be faced with a serious diagnosis like this at such a young age, I was happy that I made the decision to take her to Blue Pearl. I felt calm and had peace of mind that she was in good hands while I waited. I highly recommend this emergency vet hospital."
