"As a local resident, I must express my disappointment with Chin Chin, a purportedly top-ranked modern Chinese cuisine restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip. Despite its acclaim on platforms like Trip Advisor, Google, Yelp, and TikTok, my dining experience fell below expectations. The "New! Shrimp Toast" appetizer was indeed tasty, featuring minced shrimp, water chestnuts, and scallions deep-fried on white toast, accompanied by apricot sauce. However, while enjoyable, it lacked the wow factor I anticipated from a dish priced at $17.00. Similarly, the "Yang Chow Fried Rice" entree comprised shrimp, BBQ pork, peas, carrots, and egg sans soy sauce. Regrettably, it failed to impress, offering a flavor profile that was merely average and did not justify its hefty $26.00 price tag. The exorbitant prices became even more apparent upon receiving the bill, which totaled $46.00 for just two items, excluding tax and a mandatory 15% tip, amounting to a staggering $52.00 for a single diner. Such steep pricing for underwhelming fare left me feeling disheartened and compelled to seek more affordable dining alternatives. As a discerning local, I cannot justify revisiting Chin Chin when superior establishments offer better value for money, such as Noodle Den at Sahara and Wazuzu at Encore. While Chin Chin may have garnered accolades from some, my firsthand experience suggests that its reputation may be inflated, and its offerings must live up to the hype. I would advise looking elsewhere for those seeking an exceptional recommendation in Las Vegas."
"Went as a group of 5. Everything is a la carte and it is rather pricey. Great for a group that is willing to share family style. The consensus as the table was that the food was good. We had a mix of salad, soup, sushi, sashimi, rice and chicken. Cocktails were good as well... But the best part was our waiter Andreas."
"Love this dinning, elegant very good food! A brewed mango ice tea was great. The presentation of all the courses was great. Very tasty. Service was exceptional. Really enjoyed eating here. Try the Snow dessert it was so good!!!"
"This was our best dinner while in Las Vegas! Amazing Japanese sushi and entrees. The atmosphere is upscale but not too fancy in my opinion. The prices are VERY reasonable considering the portion sizes and compared to other options in the area. If you love sushi I would put this on your list of places to eat while in Vegas."
