"And yet another Burger King that lost my business. I walked in this evening since my work truck is too big to fit through the drive-thru. Stood at the counter forever with no one paying ANY attention to the people at the counter. I had some questions but couldn't get anyone to assist me. 3 people walked by the counter and not one stopped to see what I needed. Since I couldn't get anyone to assist me I put on my Burger King crown and became an employee and ordered something myself at the screen next to the register.. paid for it myself and then wanted a printed receipt. The only options from the kiosk were a digital receipt by scanning a QR code or no receipt at all. No option to get a printed receipt. Waiving my hands and calling out made no impact on the two employees who looked right at me from the back of the store. Finally got the drive-thru person to come over and get me a printed receipt. I asked how come no one pays attention to the counter people. Why does no one say Hi or Welcome when we walk in. Her answer was that they are busy. Too busy to say Welcome to let a customer know their business is appreciated? You don't have to stop what you're doing to look over and say "Welcome to Burger King". You greet the drive-thru people, why not the walk in people? 3 people walked by me and not one greeting. Her answer was that one of those people had already clocked out. So why didn't I get a greeting or assistance from the other two? No response, and she went back to helping the more important people at the drive-thru. I was given my cup only to find out the soda machine was out of ice. Once again I couldn't get anyone to pay any attention to me at the counter to get a drink. Finally after my food was ready I asked for a Diet Coke. My soda and bag with my order was slide across the counter and she walked away. Once again no "Thank you", "Have a nice evening" or ANY kind of comment to say thank you for coming in and spending your money here. I guess only the people in the drive-thru are deserving of attention. Two other people came in after me and once again no one greeted them. So far two locations have said that they've been informed by corporate that they are not supposed to help walk-ins. Walk in patrons are supposed to use the kiosk ONLY and that they (workers) are to concentrate on the drive-thru customers. So apparently it's true.. the drive-thru customers ARE more important than those that walk in. There are plenty of other places I can go and spend my money.. places that greet me with a smile.. take my order and thank me when they hand me my receipt. Why should I come here? If they don't appreciate my business, why should I care about theirs? Don't know who the franchisee is for this location, but if it's Glencoe then I'm not surprised of the poor service... so far every Glencoe franchise I've visited has had the worst service.. and the two locations that told me that corporate instructed them not to help walk-ins, were from Glencoe franchises."
"Only been to this location a handful of times because EVERY time I'm waiting more than 5 minutes in the drive thru. Today is the last time I give this place a try and will recommend people to avoid this location. No way should a customer wait more than 20 minutes on an order without some sort of explanation or at least a heads up. I pulled up to get my food and the guy making the drinks didn't even acknowledge I was there. He literally made the drinks then sat to the side took more orders and walked back and forth towards the back several times not giving me the drink or anything. There's at least 3 works I could see and they were not busy. I was the only car in the drive thru and could see 2 customers at the counter. After 20 minutes the manager handed me my food and drink then apologized for the wait. No way I'm going back again. Complete fail on customer service 0/10 will never recommend."
"Last time that I came to this location at night, I was sitting at the drive thru speaker while people were ordering and going ahead of me at the other lane. Then when I was finally able to order my food, I get my food and everything is room temperature. I went back to this location specifically because I went during the day one time and everything was really good and fresh."
"I ordered last night some nuggets and they were a joke. They were so crispy it was like eating fried cardboard. You could tell they have been sitting for a long time. The rest of my meal was okay other than the large soda being filled to what would fill a medium cup even after all the ice. All around, I will never EVER eat at this location again."
