"High tea was great! 3 courses, 3 different teas, and I experienced what it is like to be the "Tea Mother"! The story of how the gardens came to be including the Garvin family story was delightful! Mrs. Garvin was a pioneer, ahead of her time! Tulips were beautiful. Celebrating my mom's 91st birthday with 3 of her great friends! Rental of golf cart driven by knowledgeable volunteers, great for us to see so much of the park when walking was otherwise difficult. A "must-see" jewel in Hot Springs, AR."
"This place was amazingly beautiful. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. Definitely worth the time to go and check it out. Wasn't very far from downtown Hot springs"
"There was nothing more beautiful as this garden. So amazingly beautiful tulips, Japanese gardens and more birds than we could identify. Do yourself a favor and visit the gardens. Buy tickets online, save time and $. There are tons of areas to sit and visit. They have made it so comfortable."
"This is a lovely and peaceful garden. The garden closed an hour or two earlier than Google said so, we didn't get to look around for very long. Also, most of the flowers hadn't bloomed yet, but the tulips were gorgeous. We will have to come back another time. I would definitely recommend stopping by the beautiful chapel!"
"We attended the Holiday Lights. Absolutely amazing and detailed Christmas light exhibits. Perfect to take children to but delightful even for adults. This is on paths and trails through the garden so requires sturdy shoes. On the whole the paths were well lit. The trails vary between small gravel, packed dirt, and some concrete. We did note multiple strollers and wheelchairs navigating the paths seemingly without difficulty. Golf cart tours were available for extra charge. There were several tents selling coffee, hot chocolate, sodas, popcorn, nachos and similar snacky food. At the end the small restaurant was also serving, although we did not go so I can't say what kind of food they had. The gift shop was open. The drive both entering and leaving was long but very well marked with attendants guiding traffic along the way and all turns marked with clear signage. Parking was plentiful but chances are you will need to walk quite a distance from parking to entrance. Handicapped parking lot was available near the entrance."
