"Small mountains afford some nice views after a brief mildly strenuous climb. Gulpha Gorge State Park is a nice spot though close to a well traveled sloping road so you will hear some trucker air brakes. The town is cozy at least in the off season and of course the water is the main attraction, whether at a bath house or just filling up your bottles."
"This is one of the most beautiful places I've visited. There are miles of trails that you can access from the camp grounds and at the bathhouse visitor center (behind the building). If you go into the city, there are many shops and eateries to enjoy."
"One of the best tourists place for spending a whole weekend with family and friends. Family friendly hiking trails but mostly are not stroller or wheelchair accessible. But you can drive up to mountain tower, so easily can have the view of beautiful surroundings. Viewpoints are great as well. I wish I could take more pictures of nature. It was our first vacation with our newborn, will definitely visit again in shaa Allah."
"Hot Springs National Park is a great, unique National Park that's partially on the edge of town with historical hot spring fed bath houses, and partially on a couple of ridges with lots of beautiful trails. We enjoyed bathing at one of the one bath houses, something we had never really done before. The Hot Springs Visitor Center is located in another historic bath house, and while it no longer functions as a bath house, it was a beautiful building with lots of interesting exhibits. We also enjoyed a couple of gorgeous hikes while visiting the wilder side of the park."
"Absolutely gorgeous! We gave ourselves a week to visit... still not enough time to do everything. The people from forestry to shops are great. Free spring water , bring your own water bottles to fill. Free public parking across from the visitors center, just a small distance from the bath house row. This is along the, I'd call it the main drag. The bathhouses are part of the National Park. There are trails and so much more to see like the look out tower. Look for the signs. The buildings are so beautiful and a lot are in the process of restoration. I mean for their age, maintenance is a must but they really are doing a great job preserving the historical sites. Keep that in mind if your choose one of the landmarks as your place to stay during your trip."
