"I regret renewing my lease. If I had known it would go downhill with the new management, I would have left as soon as possible. When you can’t get management to CARE about how bad the property looks, it’s infuriating. Myself and other residents have tried many times to bring up complaints about the state of things. Rather than actually doing something about it, the manager thinks handing over white flags to mark dog waste is an effective resolution. Please tell me how that helps when the “groundskeeper” ignores them and the landscaping crew still spread waste while they work in the grass and flower beds. The condescending and narcissistic attitude of management is the worst. When neighbors complain about loud noise in the middle of the night and they do nothing about it. Along with the pool treatment going neglected for so long, it grew algae and other nasty things. I refuse to use the pool ever again because I don’t trust management to do the right thing. Dog waste is so bad, you can’t walk on sidewalks without stepping in it. I literally walk on the street with my dog to avoid stepping on anything. Building halls are supposed to be cleaned, but I have yet to see stains mopped up or glass doors wiped. Dumpster areas are overflowing almost daily. People get drunk and rowdy at the pool, sometimes starting in fights, but nothing is done about it. Management will lie and cheat in every way possible to bring in more money and keep up a certain image. It’s all fake. Update 2/6/24: I reported to the leasing office and let them know my dog passed and to take the pet rent off my lease. First thing they say is, "You're subject to random inspections for the next 6 months." The day after I put my dog down, I get that random inspection. To say the least, I am livid. Especially when you have the audacity to do this type of inspection but don't care about the other inspections you should be doing... like fire alarms and HVAC units. No, because you're not getting an extra $25 a month, you decide now is a good time to make your presence known in my unit. The words I really want to say are not appropriate. I am looking forward to the day I move out and put this horrible place behind me."
"Let me explain my 1 star review. The place itself is wonderful, they have great amenities that aren't offered anywhere else, especially for the price point. My one star comes from the change of management. Destin, the original manager, was wonderful, professional, efficient, understanding, and kept everything running how it was supposed to be. The current one, that shall not be named, can’t even keep the pool clean. My son would come down on the weekends. He has asthma. During the summer the pool became so gross. Not only could easily see the body oils, sunblock lotion, and spray floating on the surface of the pool, but when it rained the pool grew algae. Most people are partying pool side and didn't care about the mass of plant life thriving and growing around them but for those who know better and were concerned about our well being, were disgusted. A concerned tenant took a sample of the pool water to a pool service company where it was tested it using a UV device. The reading, which she received a print out of, literally said there was feces in the pool. It also stated there were ZERO chemicals in the pool. All she had done was have the pool vacuumed which didn't do anything at all. For the last part of our stay, my son did not get to use the pool because I refused to let him swim in filth. I can’t express how much I loved this place and how quickly it went down hill when the original manager was sent to manage another complex within the company. There is dog poop everywhere. This is the tenants fault, but its 100$ per dog to have your dogs poop registered to where they are supposed to test and fine people for failing to pick up poop. Instead she would send out passive aggressive emails attacking tenants who work for a living, saying they can’t have trailers on the back of their truck. These people would ALWAYS be parked in the very back of the parking lot where no one else parked. She has also mislead people about the leasing term’s pertaining to moving out. She tries to point out things that are in a revised lease and not in the actual lease that was sign. The tenants are bound by the lease that they sign and not one that was revised unless that of course is signed upon renewal. The property itself is wonderful. The people and amenities are great. Its hard to enjoy the amenities when they aren’t properly cleaned or up to code. I really hope that they fix this in the future."
"This place USED to be amazing until management changed. There is now a property manager that I strongly believe doesn’t care about the residents or the community — she just likes the title. She is beyond demeaning and extremely rude not only to the residents, but the vendors and her employees as well. I witnessed it first-hand. I tried rectifying an issue I was having and she answered her cell phone in the middle of our conversation… The front of the community looks great for sidewalk attraction and tour purposes…. Until you actually live here and experience what the grounds look like. If you have a dog, you have to pay for a DNA test to be completed and they claim to pick up dog poop that is left and test it to charge those who haven’t picked up after their dog. It’s a joke — just another way to collect money and a way to try to sell the newcomers of how “fancy” this place is. There are MOUNDS of dog poop EVERY WHERE around the community and on sidewalks as you are walking into your building. The dog poop bag stations are empty more than half the time. Cars are constantly getting broken into, A/C’s don’t work, staff turnover is ridiculously high. The amenities and the apartments themselves are extremely nice (when they’re actually taken care of), however, the lack of customer service and the “care and concern” for the residents and the grounds is truly a major problem. I look forward to my lease being up."
